The new CityBug SE features a thumb throttle and an electronically assisted front brake as well as a 250w motor which generates no CO2 Emissions and provides a higher top speed than previous models. Acceleration works the same as previous CityBug models in that a kick start is required to engage the 250w motor. Once the motor is engaged, using the thumb throttle you can increase your speed to a maximum of 11mph or maintain a slightly slower pace - the choice is yours! Bringing the CityBug to a slow and controlled stop is simpler than ever - you can release the throttle or use the front Electric Assist Brake System (EAB) to reduce your speed gradually, or alternatively, you can use the large rear fender brake to quickly reduce your speed if needed. The CityBug SE is great for taking on your daily commute as it can fold down easily to fit into luggage compartments, it has a built in support stand so as you don't have to fully fold the scooter away. It also has a fast charge time of just over two hours and a range of up to 11 miles, but can be used as a normal push scooter if needed.

Max speed 12mph range 12miles I had to download a 3G speedometer app to check.Needs a rain guard extension at back, I added a 150mm strip of plastic attached with duct tape which stops water being directed up your back. Would love spring loaded front suspension as when you hit holes at speed it jars your teeth. Other than that, the scooter meets my needs for travelling between buses, tubes, luas, and site.
