Almost perfect
I purchased this the 130 model to attach to a sponge filter on a 10 gallon ruby red minnow tank. The unit is very compact and fits perfectly on the tube of a 20 gallon sponge filter. I wanted to create a little flow in the tank. This unit did just that not to much just enough. I love the top out put. It creates surface movement that usually requires a much larger unit. This gets you great circulation without blowing plants and fish all around. The only knock I have for it is that it does not include a directional diffuser for the standard output or a way to block it off completely.

Power head
It works , don't really care for attachments for underground filter tubes , had to rig it to work. Not as powerful as expected, but I will say it works.

very fiddly; seems underpowered
i bought the 60 gph version to power a cycled sponge filter for a small betta tank because the bubbling & humming air pump were driving me mad & i hoped it would provide more flow for the tank, since it only has a nano HOB and everything is behind a flat chunk of very-holey mopani, so the current is blocked somewhat.. it IS quieter than the air pump. it does NOT, however, contribute very much to creating a current through the tank.the included mount and suction cups are garbage. the cups are tiny and only suction to totally-flat surfaces & won't stay inside the slots in the mount, so i gave up on that and just stuck it on the tube for the sponge filter. the parts all fit together very loosely, so a lot of patience is required during installation because everything falls apart the second you move it.as far as the output, i do wonder how much it actually moves. maybe someday i'll use the pump to help with water changes and see how long it takes to move a gallon to the bucket... but it was such a PITA to get into the filter setup that i won't touch it until i have to :)TL;DR: seems weaker than claimed in ad, the quality is questionable, wouldn't use this on its own as a filtration solution. i also wouldn't pay $8 again, this is like, a "$4.99 on amazon warehouse" product.

Great for really nano tanks
I use this little powerhead on a 3 gal nano tank that I use for a spare tank when quarantining fish prior to adding them to my larger tanks. The tank is set up permanently however. I use it with the included air attachment to inject additional air into the tank. It has worked great for this purpose. Note that I was specifically looking for a tiny powerhead, so the fact that it is really small and doesn't have a huge amount of flow is actually a plus. Even so, the flow is pretty strong for this size aquarium, so I wouldn't recommend putting it on anything smaller than 3 gal unless you're looking for a LOT of circulation. I also rigged a sponge on the intake to add some extra filtration and to ensure that shrimp, etc. don't get sucked into the intake. It seems to be working well. My only complaint, and it's not a big one, is that it's a little difficult to regulate the air flow, but that's not a big deal. Especially considering the price, I'm very happy with this little power head and may add some of these to my bigger tanks to increase flow in localized areas. It also works great for adding air. If I had noticed this powerhead before, I probably would have just skipped the air pump and stone and used this instead. It would be cheaper and quieter than an air pump, and probably do a better job of diffusing air into the water since the bubbles are quite fine.

Perfect for beginners and easy maintenance management.
I used 2 of the 60 gph on a 20 gal. low tank, with under gravel filter and put the bubbler ends( w/rubber gromets) on the out flow. It's just strong enough to pull water and gasses(micro bubbles) from beneath the filter and helps create a self sufficient atmosphere which I only have to clean twice a year and not much at that. The up flow thru the bubbler end go straight up and create surface ripples and I can still use the carbon/ammonia cartridges. These are very reliable in my opinion, and with the small strainer on the intake I've not had to do any maintenance on them so far after eight months.

Misinformation
I had to spend time asking questions to confirm other reviews were wrong. Although it will take time to confirm it is reliable for its product lifecycle, it works exactly as I expected and as was documented by the seller. For others like me, the product fits on a standard 1" UGF tube, the nozzle on top turns to angle the output where desired, and it is a powerful flow to circulate most aquariums, especially the 29 gallon I installed my two powerheads. Sometime too much misinformation results in time wasted by some people who have no idea how to use products they buy. This listing is an example of one but at least I don't have to return it, like the other buyers. Thank you to those who answered my questions!
