Question 1

Why does the video, not have the actual alarm sounds on?

Accepted Answer

I would highly recommend it ‘I was reported to the RSPCA for being cruel and keeping a dog locked up in my garage, seriously. Some people say it doesn’t sound that good and others say it’s realistic.either way something is better than nothing. If you plug it into a remote socket you can turn it off and on without entering the building it’s protecting ,only gripe is the barking can be a little bit repetitive, otherwise brilliant.

Question 2

What is the maximum thickness of solid stone wall it can "see through"?

Accepted Answer

From my experience, maybe single skin brick to be reliable. I have a normal brick built house and it rarely 'sees' through the wall but is ok with a door. The bark is realistic and it's generally a good product just not able to 'see' through walls as it's claimed. (I have it plugged into the mains).

Question 3

Is mine faulty or is the unit meant to bark for 20 seconds or so every time it is switched on? I have it on a time switch and it is very annoying.

Accepted Answer

With mine it barks every time it gets in range. I have it plugged in the study and even time someone gets near it barks for 5 seconds it's really good even a policeman came round and thought it was a real dog

Accepted Answer
