Wow! I wouldn't have guessed what a wonderful hit this present was going to be. My darling 7 year old received a lot of presents this year, but this was her favorite. She thanks me for it all of the time. She says the best part of it is that she gets to spend time with her Daddy. Those two really do sit down together and work on their coloring and chit chat and have a grand ole time. She begs to do at least 2 spreads a day with him, and he loves it seeing just how gleeful she is. It gives them an opportunity that would not otherwise present itself. This was a really surprisingly wonderful buy. Her older 10 year old sibling is jealous watching the exchange, so I've been asked to buy one for her to do as well. They need to make more of these. This is the only one I've seen for father and child

Incredible. The first few pages that discuss what works and what doesn’t work when connecting with a child. As a speech pathologist, I absolutely loved this SO much. Asking a million questions while kids play is draining for the child. Instead, it discussing how an adult can add to the play by talking about what the child is doing like an announcer or actually playing with them. I’ve bought many books and activities like this and this is a gem! I wish there were other versions or a general one in addition to the draw with me DAD. A must buy for grandparents or any person trying to connect with their child. Of course not every child will love the activities but absolutely 5 star review!

Very good way to get my boys and their dad to spend time together. Bought for my oldest, but my youngest is into it too. Good to start conversations but my oldest (7) seems to be concrete in his answers so maybe need to be a little older if you want deeper conversation

My husband and daughter absolutely love this book. The first portion of the book gives conversation ideas and words of wisdom. The rest of the book is filled with cute drawings and prompts for drawing and having a meaningful chat.

Perfect for when my husband comes home from work and my son wants to spend time with him. It's a good way for my husband to unwind and they both get some great quality time together!

My kiddo is more into coloring, than drawing, so he was a bit disappointed by this book. I think he will grow into it, though. We have several books that encourage moms and kids to color together, but none for dads, so we were hoping that this would fill that void. It comes close, but misses the mark.

My son and husband have been enjoying working through this together. It definitely geared towards younger children. My son is 7 and in first grade.

My partner was getting frustrated with our twin boys, age 5, when they would not hold a conversation with him as he got home from work. He was getting the usual response of "nothing" or "I don't remember" when he asked them what they had done at school. I bought them one of these books each and after a few weeks of using them they now greet him with "please could we do our special colouring with you daddy". The book is great, it comes with conversation hints to guide you and your child to talk about feelings and aspirations, alongside some fun colouring. I highly recommend.

Wtf Amazon. I purchased this new and I just opened it to discover someone had coloured in it. Not only that but one page is covered in glue and one is even CUT out.
