Merrell mens Moab 3 Tactical Mid Waterproof Boots, Coated Leather & Mesh Upper Combat Hiking Work Shoes

I can't believe I haven't tried these sooner. Probably one of the most important articles of clothing that you can wear is what's on your feet. These are probably the most comfortable boot right out of the box that I have ever put on my feet. The sole feels like a cushion and it is incredibly silent. They're lightweight but they don't sacrifice stability. I'm not sure what's going on inside but they support your foot in such a way they feel like a flexible armor. I'm in love with these boots. They are called Moab which means mother of all boots, and I have to tell you I don't think I will go back to wearing anything else. When these wear out eventually years from now I'm going to buy another pair. I got them in Black and it looks very sharp I'm sure all of the other colors look very good the green look very appealing to me but I did decide to go with the black. They are true to size, I wear an 11 and 1/2 but sometimes I have to get a 12 but these in 11 and 1/2 fit perfectly very comfortable and they don't squeeze my toes together. If you're thinking about getting a pair stop thinking about it and get them. You won't regret it.

These boots are perfect for outdoor activities and rough terrain. I mainly use them when going to shooting ranges, where the ground often has dirt, rocks, and uneven surfaces. In that type of environment, having safe, resistant footwear is necessary, and these boots perform very well. They feel solid, protective, and comfortable enough for extended use. They are also easy to clean, which is very practical after walking through dusty or muddy areas. I have also used them when visiting farms and rural properties with more mud, and they have worked extremely well. Overall, they are durable, practical, and highly reliable boots. Very recommended.

I have worn different versions of this boot for years. I bought two pairs this time but they were a bit stiffer than usual and hard to break in and not quite as comfortable. They have always been good boots though.

As other reviewers have stated, these boots run a half size large. I’m a size 9 (even measured again to make sure), and the 9Ws I ordered were too long. Exchanged them for 8.5Ws, replaced the insoles with thicker ones, tested them out with hiking socks, and I still had a bit of room in the heel. Recommend getting a fitting if you can find a store that carries them. My local REI carries the Moab 3 Mid WP, but not the Tactical model. Also echoing other reviewers who mentioned that it’s difficult to keep tension on the laces while tying the boots. All that said, these are the sturdiest, most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned, so I’m willing to overlook the quirks.

The top shoe lace holder broke on the 3rd time wearing them. They are made of plastic. They were only a couple weeks old. I called Merrill and they said that there shoes were guaranteed for a year but because I bought them from someplace other than there store they said that they would not help me. Total waste of money. Complete garbage

Having a plastic eyelet up top instead of a hook means they fit more loosely (les securely). 2nd time I wore them the plastic eyelet broke off. I took it to a shoe repair place and he fixed it with a metal piece. Still don't tighten securely enough for a hike on loose terrain.

Chercher depuis un peu une chaussure de randonnée. Après un petit modification ( chaussure droite) relié au mauvaise couture fabrications, des chaussures agréable au pieds à faire des balades.

Las botas por fuera tienen excelente vista pero por dentro en la zona de la suela tienen una parte que lastima la planta del pie y por esa razón las tuve que devolver, no sé si fue el par que me llegó solo a mí.

Finally had to get a new pair after 3 years. Great for an everyday driver with considerably no lengthy break in time 2 days was all that was needed. Easy to clean and dry and works good with any off the rack quick lace system
