This review is about UPERFECT 2K 144Hz Portable Monitor Touchscreen 18" 2560x16007/7: 2nd update:Seller/Uperfect and this product earned 5+ stars: Anyone who is hesitating, you can be assured this seller/Uperfect will make it right to ensure you will have a perfect monitor. I received a replacement within days, and it was 100% perfect. This is a great monitor. I took the extra step to measure its color accuracy, and their claims are true: I used the xrite colormunki display: https://amzn.to/3Iw9phz combined with open source DisplayCal software, and it measured a perfect SRGB, DCI-P3, and almost 90% coverage of Adobe RGB! The screen and colors are gorgeous. It worked great with just one USB-C cable connected to my laptop, but for good measure also included in the package are a mini to regular HDMI, 2x USB-C to USB-C, and 1x USB-C to USB-A cables, plus a 45 Watt USB-C plug powerful enough to charge my laptop while the screen is connected to it. Screen itself allows to adjust custom RBG values, so for those who want to use it for photo editing, you can get it near perfect in combination with a simple Xrite Color Munki to generate a color profile7/3 Updated review:Uperfect has made this right, and assured me each monitor is checked prior to be being boxed. For now I have updated this review to 3 stars due to the stellar customer service of Uperfect, and will update the ratings further pending the quality of the replacement monitor once it has arrived.6/22 Original review:Lack of quality control, this screen was sent with a crack in a completely pristine and undamaged box and shipment package. Screen arrived with a large crack from one end to the other end. The screen functions, great image and colors, sturdy leg, but sending it out like this is bad. It cannot have happened during transports, as the original box, packaging, and the shipment box were in pristine shape. This screen was clearly put into the box with a crack.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second UPERFECT monitor and I was impressed enough with the first 16" model I picked up that I decided to snag this 18" as well. I had been using a budget 15.6" model for both a second monitor on an articulated arm as well as for portable use when playing my Nintendo Switch at a friend's house, but the washed out colors left me wanting something with better color and a higher resolution image, and UPERFECT delivered in a way that met all of my requirements. I'm now using the 16" as a dedicated travel monitor and this 18" as my workstation secondary monitor.Smaller monitors with VESA mounts are surprisingly hard to find, and most of them only have 2x mounting holes, which is less secure and leaves a weird gap when mounting them, but the UPERFECT models are a full flat back with a full 4-hole VESA mount for secure mounting to monitor arms. They also have a nice little kickstand with VESA spacing you can buy as an accessory that securely holds up the monitor at any angle you like, and still folds very flat for carry in a case for travel.The monitor came securely packaged with a power supply, Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable, and 2x full-featured USB-C cables of good quality. You'll get the highest Hz out of the USB-C cables if looking for the fastest refresh rate. The charger itself supports several different common charging protocols so can be used for other charging tasks in addition to acting as the monitor's power supply.Setting up the monitor was a true plug-and-play affair, and all I had to do was plug it in and then set my Windows preferences for how I was using it. The color is vibrant, and the images remarkably crisp and well-defined. The built-in speakers are tinny, but that is completely typical of portable monitors and they're really there more as a backup and you'll more commonly be using headphones/earbuds or dedicated speakers with it if doing anything serious involving sound, and so I don't fault it whatsoever on that front. The overall build of the monitor frame/body is good enough for the money, with most of the cost being in the display panel itself. It's a lightweight aluminum bezel and backplate, and while I wouldn't call it bombproof, it should be tough enough for extended use so long as it's suitably protected when transporting it for mobile use. One other reviewer noted that the menu dial sticks out of the included folio-style cover, but that's common on almost all portable monitors and the folio should not be considered your only protective cover for transport purposes. I always put my portable monitors in a soft laptop sleeve inside a second hardshell EVA zip case for additional stiffened support. The folio is just an economy stand and screen cover to prevent scratches in transit. Menu navigation is easy using the conventional dial interface above the power button and it gives you control of all of the various aspects of the monitor.My only complaints are that there is a small amount of backlight bleed around the bottom edge of the monitor, but it's very common on economical IPS displays like these and is ONLY noticeable on fully black screens. Ones with even a little bit of color or grey to them make it completely invisible. I also had a couple of pixels get stuck on green, briefly, but was able to easily resolve them using the "massaging" method of just rubbing the spot with a little firm thumb pressure, and they haven't returned. In this price range there will always be some degree of drawbacks or cost-saving measures taken in the design and execution of the monitor, and as far as I'm concerned the exact right balance of features was selected to make this monitor an exceptional value. Add in the fact that UPERFECT themselves has exceptional product support with timely responses and it makes the decision to go with them very easy. A lot of the brands you find in these economy portable monitors have next to no support for them, but when I received a defective example with my first 16" model they noticed my review and reached out to help make sure that I got a properly functioning one, and turned my irritation into complete satisfaction.All in all, I'm VERY impressed with this monitor, and the company themselves.

Came new with everything. The screen itself is good for gaming which I use it for. I have it connected to a dock for an Asus ROG Ally with an XG Mobile GPU. Performance is enough for my setup that I have. The screen has not been used to travel with yet but I plan to use it for travel. Sophia, the customer service agent, was amazing at getting a case for the screen. She was attentive in making sure I got the case. I would suggest a screen protector for this screen if you are picky with seeing fingerprints. It will give a peace of mind when cleaning the screen. I have mine on a mount at home and it is perfect for any third party mount as long as it can hold the weight of it. There are also cables included for connections with devices! I did have a slight concern with light leak on the top left corner but the customer service agent assured me it was normal for this screen. When using it I can barely notice it unless the screen goes all dark in a scene. In all, a good purchase.
