Philips SHS3300BK In-Ear Headphones, Earhook, Sports Headphones (Bass Beat vents, 1.2 m cable) - Black

I'm not a fan of ear buds that fit tightly in your ear canal; it feels like you're under water and they only work when properly inserted. So earphones like these are way better in my opinion and this is now the 3rd set of these Philips I've owned. They sound great for the price with a fuller more rounded sound than JVC Gumys, if you're considering trading up. They're comfortable to wear and I find the ear hooks easy to accommodate with my glasses and once in they stay put. They are generally quite robust but they always eventually fail at the point the cable joins the earphone (Philips could do something about that I'm sure). My last set lasted 4 years, so not bad really.Otherwise no major gripes for the price. If you're a real bass junkie they don't cope overly well with boosted bass at high levels. Other than it would be nice to have a range of colours, I can't fault them for £15.

Great sound quality, can go louder than I'd need as well without any distortion. They are not the most comfortable, due to the size of the speaker. The ear hooks are quite chunky compared to others I have used but not uncomfortable. I occasionally use these whilst running and have no had a problem with them. After a few hours of constant use I find I need to remove them to take a bit of pressure off my ear, so probably not ideal if you plan on wearing them for long periods of time.

Have used these earphones for years. They are great for a workout or when you cant bring a pair of bigger earphones with you. The sound is fairly decent and they do not take up much space at all. I have always found them quite durable. The only times i've ever really had to replace them was if I lost them. Had one pair where the rubber around the ear part came lose and got lost however I did have that pair for quite a while.

I’ve had loads of these over the years. The sound quality is good and they don't fall out of your ears despite vigorous exercise. I buy them as they can be worn under ear protectors when I’m working. The big downside is that they don’t last....they will almost always fail before one year leaving you with sound in only one ear. I just send them back and get a replacement as it’s still under warranty. I’ve tried other makes but I’ve gone back to these as I like the way they never fall out and they’re not too ‘in ear’.

Sound quality very good. I use them at the gym and manage to just about cancel out the crap played on the PA. This is the third pair I've had. They last well under the extreme circumstances. When these eventually succumb to the rigors I will not hesitate in buying another pair.

Great for the commute. Very light and easy to store. Not the greatest sound but good enough to obscure most of the annoying coughs, sneezes and inane conversation from others on the train.Updated to say that I've had three sets of these now and for me, they're so much better and less intrusive than those you press right into your ear - that cannot be healthy.For the price, these are fantastic. And to those expecting lifelong performance for under £15 - really? 🤣

This was a bit of a gamble as I had a fab set of BOSE earphones for my I-pod which had basically worn out,However these are brilliant. I was massively impressed by the sound quality especially the bass response and they match or beat the BOSE right across the range.I normally use fully in-ear phones, as the over ear tend to irritate, but I needn't have worried as these are well designed, ergonomic and fit comfortably.As to the price, extremely good value
