Go Inks 4 Set of 6 Ink Cartridges to replace PGI-525 & CLI-526 Compatible/non-OEM for PIXMA Printers (24 Pack)

These are great ink cartridges which I've been using with my notoriously ink thirsty Canon MG6120 printer from the USA. I use a chipper so my printer thinks these cartridges are PGI-225 and CLI-226, which are the US versions of C-525 and C-526.These inks are good quality, have not caused me any problems over the last 18 months and are very cost effective compared to Canon original inks.The only downsides are that the colours in printed photographs are not quite as vibrant as the Canon originals, and of course the ink is not archival quality (i.e. it will fade over time) - but what do you expect for a fraction of the cost?

Have bought similar cartridges before from another supplier (ink jungle). Never had a problem with printer recognition but these are flaky. I dread having to change one because you never know if the printer will reject it or even more obscurely it will decide to reject another previously installed cartridge from the same set. Sometimes takes 3-4 attempts to reseat before it works. Print quality OK.

I'm not sure if I should be writing a 3 or a 4 star review of these. It's 4 stars because I keep re buying them.. but they never last long in the printer. I rarely use my printer and they dry out in just a couple of months. If I do use the printer, they don't last long either.That said, they're very cheap, they are completely compatible and when they do print, the quality is good.I am confused about them though.

First time I have used compatible ink rather than the genuine version - it will be the last.When the items arrived, straight away I noticed that some of the ink cartridges had leaked, ink contained in the plastic bags so they went straight into the bin. When removing the orange plastic cap, to insert the cartridge, more ink was displaced and leaked over my hands and floor.Secondly, the print quality of these is terrible. OK for printing general documents but no good for pictures and especially no good for photos. The printed colours are not represented as they are on the screen, grey prints out as a dirty green colour. Photos printed with these cartridges look horrendous, no contrast, no vibrance and they do not accurately represent what is displayed on the screen.Thirdly, after several months of use I started having problems with blocked jets and poor print quality (streaks, etc.) After trying many different maintenance tasks on the printer, such as head cleaning, nozzle cleaning, deep clean, etc. I determined the printer was done for. There was no way to undo the damage they cartridges had done. Printer was subsequently replaced and I'll only be using genuine ink from now.

will buy again, happy with quality but i do use them only for general printing, not pictures. still i have a home office and they are lasting a long time

I've always been pleased with the quality of these inks and they are so much cheaper than the Canon own brand (how do the printer manufacturers get away with the price of the inks?). Two things to be aware of, occasionally when you take the orange plastic plug out of these capsules the ink drips out, so do it over some paper - I learnt the hard way! Also sometimes when fitted, my Canon 6250 says 'Cartridge not recognised' persevere, this clears after a couple of minutes.

I was initially skeptical about ordering non-branded inks but they work well, arrived quickly and the value for money can't be beaten. I would 100% recommend.

Been using them for a few months now and I’m completely happy with the print quality, I can’t see any difference from Canon ink and I have had no issues with the printer.
