I don't know why this is advertised as non-looping. After you are almost asleep, you will notice the loop on nearly every sound. It's like a beat or rhythm of an unrelated sound in the background that your brain picks up on after a few minutes and will not let go of. That keeps you awake and it's so frustrating when are tired. I don't recommend this at all.

Now that the twins are into everything I have begun to get sqeamish with the fan on the floor and them knowing how to turn it on now so I started looking for a white noise machine. This one really was icing on muy search cake with the auto shut off (which saves energy and therefore money! ) and several different noises the best being several different frequencies of fan noises! The only downfall was the auto shut off doesn't go as long as they sleep at night (12-13hrs) but for that there is continuous and I can use the timer for nap time still! It works great, sounds are clear, volume control from very quiet to extremely loud is amazing, and it is small and beautiful! I highly recommend this white noise machine for anyone in the market!

I am someone who likes pure white noise, as I use it to sleep. I like a "fan" type sound, with no clicking or anything that loops. This sound quality was fantastic, but behind EVERY single white noise sound was a loop that I could hear very lightly.One had a rhythmic ticking sound, one had a loopy sound and yet another sounded like voices (terrifying, really). So.. if you want just something to relax while you're on the computer or something, fine. If you like pure white noise for sleeping, this will keep you awake trying to hear the repetitive loops of background noises.

My husband and I moved into an apartment - and I had no idea that our upstairs neighbors were an entire river dance team. Or horses. Either way. I'm not even a light sleeper, but they wake me up multiple times a night. But I turn this on to the beach sounds - and I'm passed back out. It really does drown out a lot of noises. I don't know if I could sleep without it, to be honest. Multiple settings from fans, city noise, crickets, to white noise - volume settings, timer settings, and more. It seriously can do it all. I've had I well over a month now and it is still running like a champ for hours at night. I would 100% recommend and if anything (god forbid) happened to mine, i would replace it with the same model

This machine is nice- I have to use it to drown out extra noise outside of my bedroom and it helps cover up my husbands snoring- for the most part- only con for me- I don’t like the white noise and there are 5 different onesI had another higher quality one but it also double the price- this one is nice as well and half the money so that’s good- we listen to water noise and it’s soothing

Bought this for my son-in-law who needs to listen to fan noises in order to fall asleep. Being we live in New England, it's not easy doing that in the freezing cold temps. So I bought this, hoping he could use it instead of leaving his phone on YouTube while he's asleep all night. Which turned out to be a good investment. He enjoys it very much and loves how lite weight and portable it is to travel with as well.

When you turn on the white noise and lay down I noticed there was another sound pattern that I could here that made it very difficult to sleep too. I even had my friend try it and he heard the pattern too. I tried all the white noise options it had and the lower frequency sound was in all of them with different patterns to it. I'm super sound sensitive when I sleep so I can't use it. But I already threw the box away.

I have a hard time falling and staying asleep ,This worked wonders ,I set it on Ocean Waves and thought of the rare trips to the Coast .Out like a light and had no problem dropping back after waking

I purchased this little sound box machine to replace my air purifier which I had originally bought mostly for the background noise of the fan, since I live in a somewhat noisy environment. After checking over a number of different White Noise Machines on Amazon, I decided on this one, mainly for two reasons: It does not loop the sound every few seconds (which I would find too irritating); and it has a plugin for an earphone. Although the small unit has a good quality speaker, it cannot match the sound I get when I plug my Bose speakers into the unit. It makes a big difference in the quality of the sound, even when it is only the fan sound, of which there are several.

We like "white noise" and this unit does it in spades.I like the selection of noise although there are a few I would not have but my choice is not others choice so you do a good selection.I only wish it had bluetooth as I have a cool set of bluetooth sleeping pods but as more of these become mainstream so too will a bluetooth capability.Has great volume controls as well the buttons are less tactile than I like but seem to work very well.I like the timer feature as well and although the instructional booklet describes it a bit oddly it's easy to push and see how many hours you have it set for.Overall I highly recommend this over much higher priced units you won't be disappointed to say the leastOh and It is small enough to fit in your travel gear for taking on your trips.

Love the white noise.. Would have liked thunderstorm instead of just rain but it's nice and relaxing..
