Doesn't work in win10
Doesn't come with drivers for windows 10 couldn't find compatible drivers on the web. Recognised by bios during boot and you can go into card's bios to define raid configs. However, I can see no way to configure the card to just treat connected drives as single non-raid drives - the only options seem to be to define a raid array that is striped or mirrored and then assign the attached drives to the array so defined. I hoped to be able to just add up to 4 additional drives to my PC but seems not possible since config is not supported (unless someone can tell me how?) AND not recognised properly in windows 10 :-(

I wouldn't use this in a server environment but its good enough for me as a home user even with ...
This device has a big bug - I bought two of them and both have the same problem in different computers. After a reboot - sometimes the device will not start up for whatever reason - if you remove the disks from the bays then disable/enable the device it comes online then you can slot the disks back in.I wouldn't use this in a server environment but its good enough for me as a home user even with this bug

Bit fiddly to fit as the backplate was not quite the right height, but managed with some brute force and ignorance - worked right out of the box and booted happily from the IDE drive connected to it, so no issues with performance.

Cheap PCI card with raid features.
Works but can cause slow booting to bios on some machines. Only used to test drives. Has raid features which may be a plus or negative. For the price positives outweigh negative.

Didn't work
Purchased to add some back drives on machine. Doesn't support Windows 10 and I couldn't get it to work. Waste of money, but to be fair was a gamble.Wouldn't recommend.

easy peasy
used this to add extra hard drives in my PC, having used up all of the motherboard sata sockets. plug and play. brilliant

Doesn't work with windows 10
Doesn't work with windows ten as there's no drivers - you have to use a 64 bit vista driver and even then the sata raid 0 stripe is slower than a single drive. Do not buy "new" old tech for a new OS.
