This Clean Clad Kit is a great combo pack of two 4 ounce bottles. One is an Advanced Spot Cleaner, and the other is a Grease & Oil Stain Remover. In their literature, they provide a really helpful and detailed spotting chart that offers suggestions on which product to use depending on the type of stain. It even tells you in what order to use the products for more difficult stains. So, for everything from beverage stains to cooking oil stains to tomato sauce stains, the nice chart tells you just what to do.These Clean Clad Kit products can be used on a variety of fabrics, carpets, and upholstery, although they suggest to always test a small are first. I tried these products on an old carpet stain that looked mostly like grease tracked in from someone’s shoe, and just using the Grease & Oil Stain Remover bottle, it did a decent job. First, I just applied some of the product directly on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, they suggested spraying the area with distilled water. I used regular tap water. Then, I got a dry rag and started to blot the area to remove the stain. It did a nice job!I think some stains may require repeated application, but they mention in their product details that it might take a couple of times to really get the stains out. So far, I’m really liking this combo set, and I now I need to get after some of the stains around the house!The only think I would mention that would improve this product is if the bottles had some kind of a dispenser cap like a squirt bottle hole, a dropper plug, or an eye dropper cap. Just pouring it out of the bottle is kind of hard to control.

I wanted to try this CleanClad Kit out primarily because of an "animal spot" on my couch. The chart of instructions doesn't mention which method you're supposed to use for "animal spots", but the instructions do say to use the advanced cleaner for them. I tried that and the spot didn't change. I tried again, nothing. I tried the grease & oil remover and then the advanced spot cleaner in that order, and the "spot" did actually clear up a bit. The instructions do say you may need to repeatedly use the cleaners, but I wasn't figuring on having to use them 5 times for a spot that small and still have it visible.That said, the spot IS less noticeable. The cleaner is definitely working.

This old-timey looking spot and stain remover kit is quite good. It got out the stains that I tried it on. The liquid can pour and there's no restriction in the bottle. I suggest daubing the spot with a wadded up cloth or sponge for more economical use.

This is a great kit that comes with both spot and stain cleaners. I had a spot on the floor that I’ve had trouble getting out and this spot remover got it up with no problems. You only need to use a little bit on a rag and rub it into the carpet or whatever your wanting to clean and it comes right off. I will be using these around the house. Great value!! Would Recommend!!

I’m not sure how well this spot and stain remover will work on big jobs but for the lightweight spots and stain on the couch it cleaned up pretty nicely and left no residue. Also cleaned up the strawberry milk stain that was accidentally spilled over. I will have to see how well it does with big jobs. But overall it works pretty good

This kit comes with a bottle of Advanced Spot Cleaner and a bottle of Grease & Oil Stain Remover. These are pretty small , 4 oz. bottles, which are just fine just spot cleaning. I used the Grease & Oil Stain Remover to try to get an old oil stain out of my favorite T-shirt. It seems to work. I simply put enough over the oil stain and let it sit for several minutes before spraying it with water and blot it with a clean terry cloth. Though I had to repeat it few times in order to get most of the stain off, probably because it was an old stain.I haven't had a chance to try the Advanced Spot Cleaner yet. It is formulated to treat food, sauce & beverage stains, including blood. The directions for use are similar. Treat, blot and repeat. The kid comes with several small sheets of cloth-like towels for blotting the stains out. I found it more effective to use white terry cloth towels for the job. Just one thing. Both cleaners contain eye irritants. You'll want to spray with clean water and blot several times in order to remove any remaining cleaner from the material.All in all, I'm pretty pleased with this spot cleaning kit. It includes 2 spot cleaners for different types stains. They are designed to spot clean the materials wherever they are. You can use them on carpets, upholstery, curtains, etc. They can be very handy if you have pets in the house. The price seems pretty reasonable for a spot cleaning kit that can cover a wide variety of stains. It is worth giving it a try. Good product.

At first I was hesitant to order this because it seemed like it was geared only for carpets and upholstery. As it turns out, it's much more versatile than this and the company should consider rephrasing the title of its listing as it will likely make more people think it's a "carpet only" cleaner. It comes with two bottles and a chart telling you which bottle is better for which stain. You can use it like Shout (on clothing) as well as on furniture. I have several chairs that have stains and will use the spot cleaner on them to see if they will come out. Overall a versatile kit that can be used with almost anything, including laundry. The price is a little high but the bottles will last a long time since it's recommended for spot cleaning.

It must have been meant to be because I had just gotten into the car with my husband and noticed what appeared to be a tar spot on my seat (it's possible with my husband's work). Then this pops up on Amazon. I wasn't sure what I was going to use to try and remove it, but now I know. I'll update with the results. The bottles were sealed and in a box that included some paper towel and thorough instructions. $19.99 seems kinda pricey to me, but this will last us a long time.
