Most comfortable and Not binding
I have been on the hunt for cotton non binding socks forever. I have circulation issues and nothing worked. Either too tight or so loose that they fall down. Well gotta tell ya…These are by far the Best!!! I am a woman of 5’5” a bit chubby with slim legs. I wear a size 9 1/2 ladies , 8 1/2 mens shoe and I ordered the large size.Hope this helps.These socks have enough elastic to stay up without cutting off your circulation and have a nice padded foot without anything xtra to irritate your foot.Great product!!! You wont be dissappointed.

Winter socks a tad thicker
I like the gold tip thinner socks. These are decent, just not going to get much play in Texas. :)

A great value! They really are non-binding, and they stay up!
I have been trying for years to get a comfortable sock that does not bind or pinch my calves. This is the first time I am successful. I bought a bunch of these and I love wearing them. The soles are slightly cushioned and very comfortable and the tops are breathable and cool.

Not a PowerSox replacement. Extremely low quality.
There is no hem on the top of the leg opening. The build quality is horrendous. After one use and wash, the soles are already starting to come apart because the socks slide between your feet and the foot bed of the shoe. You can see through these socks. They are that thin.I don't even like "thick" socks. I am trying to find something to replace the GoldToe "Powersox" that they discontinued (erroneously, IMO). These are the opposite of the PowerSox.

Great Socks
These are very soft, non binding, and durable. Feel great on your feet but do not bind or tighten on your upper ankle/leg.UPDATE:Something changed! More recent orders I have purchased of these socks are VERY thinner, less material, and not as comfortable or durable. Please go back to quality of earlier product. Note: the good quality socks have very light colored gold thread on toe, where as the poor quality has a darker more pronounced gold thread on the toe.

Cheaply made
I have used Goldtoe Powersoxs for years and love how durable they were. They were thick but not to thick , they were just right. Goldtoe stopped making them so i purchase the new non-blinding comfort crew socks. I got them today and tried them on. They do not stay up. They are brand new and they are so thin there is not hold in them and they do not stay up on my chafe. Avoid purchasing this product.UPDATE: well it has been two months and had to throw them all way. They did not last, holes, they would not say up.

Soft sock- but non binding?
This is a very soft sock, but not sure the top is loose enough to claim non-binding - Gold Toe is a great sock
