TIGI Bed Head Volume Blast Gift Set

I got this as the set as it was cheaper than buying both products individually.For me the hairspray lasts all day and brushes out nicely at night. Smells lovely too which is always a bonus.The thickening spray is a game changer though. Apply is all throughout the hair, I use it in conjunction with the bed head thermal blow-dry lotion, blow-dry your hair upside down and boom all day volume. I usually have to curl my hair to get any kind of body in it, but I can even wear it straight and it still looks full and voluminous.For reference I have long-ish naturally fine hair but loads of it. It's also pin straight and texture free. If left without any product it's lank, flat as a pancake, and refuses to hold any style. These products really do work wonders for me.Hopefully this review is useful. It's all the information I was looking for before I bought it! :)

I was asked if I’d like to review TIGI Bed Head Volume Blast Gift Set and I said yes.This set arrived in a lovely presentation box, and includes two products which are :-• TIGI Bed Head Superstar Queen for A Day Thickening Spray 311 ml (10.9 fl oz)• TIGI Bed Head Hard Head Strong Hold Hairspray 385 ml (13.5 fl oz)Directions for use are:-When using the Superstar Queen for A Day Thickening Spray, spray it on your damp hair and then blow dry to get more volume. It also makes your hair smooth and soft.When using the Hard Head Strong Hold Hairspray, (has a citrus berry fragrance), hold this about 10-12 inches from your hair. Spray over your styled hair, or you can spot spray as desired. This helps to increase firmness and gives a nice shine.This is suitable for all hair types and lengths of hair. :-)It’s a lovely set and the two products are large, so they’ll last a while.The only downside I can see is the price, that's why I'm giving the gift set 4 stars.This gift set would make a lovely Christmas or Birthday present.I can recommend this gift set.

The products really work for me (I have fine hair) - but the downside for me of Bed Head products is that they come with a distinctly floral aroma which is a bit heavy for my liking. Luckily the smell fades quite quickly!SUPERSTAR QUEEN FOR A DAY THICKENING SPRAY* This is a heat-activated product is aimed adding strength, elasticity and texture to the hair to create root lift and volume. (In Bed Head terminology, it has a "support factor" of 1 and a "thickening factor" of 3, though I don't know what this means).* To use, wash and towel-dry your hair so it is still damp; spray the product all over the hair, focusing on the roots; then blow dry your hair brushing away from your scalp to create root lift. I blow dry my hair upside down when using this product.* The end result is more volume and texture in your hair without your hair feeling sticky.* The style can be finished with hairspray, but the product does create hold itself so hairspray might not be necessary if you don't want too stiff a look. .* The product can also be used on dry hair, when it produces a stronger effect.* The product doesn't brush out, so will need to be washed out.HARD HEAD HAIRSPRAY* This is a "helmet hair" type hair spray you spray on your finished hair style to hold it firmly in place.For sale at the time of writing this review at £17.99. I love Tigi products. I have been using them for probably 20 years or more ever since my hairdresser at the time introduced them to me when i chopped all my hair off.This set contains 2 products, a thickening spray which is best on short hair, it adds volume and in my experience works really well on finer hair that needs the volume.The Hard head hairpray i had never used before but it proved to be excellent. I mainly wear my hair in chignons and french twists and no hair escaped or fell out all day long, and brushing it out proved to be easy as pie and my hair was not left with any sticky residue. The biggest tip i can give you is to spray it very finely a good 8 inches away from your head, putting too much on will make your hair stiff as a board and brushing it out will be a nightmare.This gift set at time of review is cheaper than buying the 2 products individually and will be perfect for the ladies in your life, i say that because the products are quite feminine in smell and may not suit a man.

I like the Bed Head range, so I think this would be a nice set to receive. It contains a hairspray, so probably more suited to someone with longer hair. The Queen for a Day product is really nice for fine, flat hair. I spray it in to my roots while my hair is damp and it really helps to add lift and volume. This would be an excellent stocking filler for a teen.
