NOW Tru-c Biocomplex, 60 Veg Capsules

These seem to be giving me a boost of energy but it isn't completely apparent quite yet. I take one a day and appreciate the positive effects but I do take several other supplements so I may need to give this one more time before deciding how effective it is. I will provide an update later.Update 6 Months Later: I stopped taking these because I think they were interacting with another supplement and I started having a skin reaction. Once I stopped taking these, I was better. I also realized that the Now Foods Biotin was likely the product giving me more energy and it also helped with hair and nail growth so I opted to only take the Now Foods Biotin 5000mcg instead of this product.

I gave this three stars because I believe this is a quality item but the dose is too low to be therapeutic. I also noticed that the label seemed to indicate that only a certain amount of the vitamin c was naturally derived. I have since purchased a brand of buffered sodium ascorbate (vitamin c) that is non acidic so it wont hurt your teeth, while being in powered form it has 800 servings at about 1,800% RDA. this is what I consider therapeutic. I will be getting it soon and reviewing that one I see how it goes.

This is a great form of Vitamin C. It is not limited to one form that that body will adjust to and eventually excrete before it has been used by the body. I have found that this product works better then any other form of Vitamin C that I have used. I also have not had a "belly ache" when using this product.

Its all natural to begin with, loaded with the Indian gooseberry powder which has been long used as a source for vitamin c and for healthy hair. I have just started using it, so cannot say how effective it is yet but definitely smells and look all natural with no corn additive. Just that for 60 caps with a dosage of two caps per day, it gets bit expensive but then I guess you have to pay for it to be all natural.

So sad that Now Foods discontinued Tru-C Biocomplex. I searched and searched for a whole food, non-ascorbic acid vitamin C supplement and found this one. I really liked it and was so disappointed to find I couldn't get it anymore.

I typically take a powdered form of Vitamin C but this great for taking with you on the go. Especially when you are getting under the weather and may need a little "C" boost throughout the day.

This is the best vitamin C complex out there, in my opinion. NOW is a very reliable brand. The vitamin c is from amla fruit. Amla is the highest source of vitamin C naturally. I have been using this on a daily basis for well over a year. I rarely get sick. I don't know if it is this product or not. But since I will take vitamin C anyway, it will be this. Also, the price here is very good.

It was a surprise to me that a LOT of Vitamin C brands are corn based or GMO. Not this one - so I'm very pleased to have found it. Thank you Now Foods!
