Have had this for couple of months, and cleaned it for the first time today. It works very well! In the bright sunshine, and with a good breeze, the water quickly empties from my 18" wide, 6" deep bowl because the water spray is so high.We've seen several birds use this as a dunking bath, with a few using the fountain spray to get a tickley belly bath. When the hummingbirds hover over the fountain to do that, it's extremely entertaining.

Worked right away when I opened it even though it was overcast..read in another review someone added straws to the little spacers since they were too short for their fountain..put the blue straws on mine..worked great to center fountain...planted lillies the plastic floaters are to show where lillies are in my fountain.

The media could not be loaded. While I prefer the plug in fountains because they’re a better value, I don’t have electric access at my new home. While I feel it was overpriced I’m surprised at how well it’s working on a cloudy day. The question now is longevity. I’ll wait till close to my return date and see if it keeps performing well and I keep it. So if you have a few extra bucks I’d give it a try. It hasn’t attracted any birds yet, but the spray works well. I didn’t like that it didn’t float and required the provided straws to keep it above the water line.

The media could not be loaded. I paid an extra $10 for one with a battery, so it can work when the sun is not out. Not sure how long it will last in the shade. I just put it out today. I would pay an additional $5 for the ability to adjust the flow of water. I am too lazy to water my containers every day, but in my climate they dry out so fast so I am hoping that enough spray flows onto the flowers that I can water only every other day or third day. I ended up taking an awl and making the holes in the sprinkler head a tad larger to reduce the pressure and not have the fountain spray so high. They include 7 heads so if you go overboard you have a lot left to experiment with.Regarding the container project seen here: I bought the outer container from Costco for about $15. It is very lightweight. The inner water bucket is an undersized Home Depot bucket. When you plant the flowers in the ring around the water, keep the lid on the inner bucket so you don’t get dirt in the fountain. Take the lid off last right before you add the solar sprayer. I wish I had used a black liner bucket but the flowers should grown and cover the white rim. This was about 1.5 cu of potting soil; reserve about a gallon to fill in between the flowers when the dirt settles after a week. When planting the flowers get the potting soil sopping wet. This will help reduce the dirt getting everywhere and will also help you to level the soil surface.

This stopped working after a couple of days. Unfortunately I didn't start using it immediately and I missed the return window by 3 days, so I'm stuck with this expensive piece of junk. Don't waste your money!!

I was pleased with this fountain, but it just didn’t last long enough. It was powerful for the first couple of months, then fizzled out. Less than a year later, and with no Winter use, and I need a replacement as it rarely even sputters. Decrease the price and let people know it is good for only one season.

This is a great little fountain. You don't have to assemble it, it has a bunch of different nozzles, the birds like it and it works when it's sunny and when it's cloudy. I would purchase this again.

The media could not be loaded. I took this out of its package late in the day when there was mostly shade on my patio. The moment I put it in water it started spurting a fountain. I’ve tried a few of the spray options that come with it so far. All work great. My only caution: on windy days (which it was on first day out) the water will spray onto the ground or other surface if you don’t use a large enough vessel for the water. When I checked on it this morning in mostly cloudy conditions it was still spraying a small fountain of water. The video attached is from this morning when it’s only been outside for about 16 hours.

This fountain works really good. Just have to remember to clean the pump filter intake and filter sponge regularly. The birds like this nice little addition.

I was very sceptical of this working well but it is brilliant and a great price.Easiest thing ever to set up…took minutes and off it flowed.Lots of different attachments to suit what’s best for you, works best in full sun but even when there’s no sun it keeps going just not as strong. Makes a lovely soft waterfall sound. Highly recommend.

Questa fontanella è stupenda! E' la prima che acquisto e, vedendo che aveva una bella batteria, speravo facesse al caso mio. Infatti, sorprendentemente, già dal primo giorno e senza particolare tempo di carica è andata avanti a zampillare per ore dopo il tramonto! E siamo solo a inizio febbraio, il sole non è molto.Gli ugelli sono fantastici. Io ne ho scelto uno che permettesse di non spargere l'acqua al di fuori. Ho realizzato una fontana per uccellini utilizzando un sottovaso, fermando la fontana al centro, tagliando le cannucce in dotazione su misura. Come si vede nel video, la mia idea era realizzare una fontana decorata con fiori. In questo momento sono seduta alla scrivania e vedo zampillare la mia bella fontanella al sole, dalla finestra. E' stato uno degli acquisti migliori che abbia fatto per il mio giardino.Aggiornerò al passare del tempo sulla durata delle prestazioni. Per ora FAVOLOSA!!!GRAZIE!!! ^_^
