This is a sturdy, x-large strainer spoon. I bought it to retrieve fragile dumplings but find myself using it for much more. I have even used it to remove a whole chicken from a stockpot! It is also great for deep fat frying. It is a brushed finish, rather than a mirror finish, so it doesn't match my other stainless steel utensils, but it stays!
