McDougalls Soft Bap Bread Mix - 1x3.5kg

Arrived on time, clear and easy instructions to follow. Despite not having a 'hook' for kneading I used my hands and manually kneaded the dough in the bowl and on a board. The dough when set to rise came up in 15 minutes which was excellent as I was able to bake them earlier than anticipated. They baked beautifully without event and the taste was great. I would recommend this product especially if like me, you have great difficulty in getting a supermarket grocery delivery and have to buy and freeze bread. These make for an effortless fresh and delicious alternative without any aggravation.

Had tried all methods of making my own bread with no success at all. Nearly gave up but purchased this and so pleased I did. Every batch of baps has turned out perfect. So easy to make with very little effort. It is on the sweeter side but I don't mind that. Would definately recommend for anyone struggling to make their own bread.

Purchased to have easy access to fresh bread without needing to shop too often in these difficult times. Very easy to use, gives a lovely soft texture. From packet to finished rolls in less than an hour. Perfect for rolls and sweet breads of all sorts. It is however very sweet so not ideal for normal bread. I have used it in combination with other kinds of flour to make less sweet bread with some success.

I am a convert, first time I have purchased this dough mix, works really well. I used a bread machine on dough setting to do all the kneading because my old hands are not what they use to be, anyway I thought I would try to make fruited tea cakes using the mix and they turned out wonderfully, in fact I think they tasted better than any of the supermarket brands. Have a go it's easy. 1lb of the bap mix Sprinkle of cinnamon Cup of dried mix fruits ( I used cranberries and sultanas) 10 floz warm water Table spoon or big squeeze of runny honey . Put into bread machine in order listed, select dough setting, ( I let it mix and knead for 30 minutes) turn out onto floured surface and cut dough into 9 pieces ( 25g size roughly) Put onto lightly greased baking tray place in warm place to double in size. Hot oven 180c for 15 minutes or until golden brown, place on cooling rack try and wait until cool, slice toast loads of butter yum. Makes the best bread ever, got family and friends hooked on it now.. even taking orders off my fussy what she eats 14yr old granddaughter lol and my 10yr old granddaughter gave it a 10 out out of 10.. easy to make....

The bread mix was great, but I only had a month to use it, and as we only have a loaf every two days or bread rolls every two days thrown over half of it away. Just make sure if you do order this for the date is more than a month.

I dislike nothing at all. First time making then ever and I honestly think they are better than my shop bought ones and so easy and quick to make and so so soft. I never write reviews as I get what I expect obviously but honestly this product is actual special in my opinion anyway so have to say something. I still can't believe how worth it the stuff is and I'm no robot or fake profile comment thing. Amazing honestly. Defo buying again. Mind I've bought most of the other stuff to and yet to try like the pizza base and cookies and that. 😊

Straight forward to use - coupled with an oven that has auto for rising the mix - nice results too - tasty for sure!!! We've had some occasional trouble with packaging bursting whilst in transportation
