The Theragun brand has never let us down. We purchased our first Theragun in 2024—the Theragun Elite (5th Gen)—and have been very happy with its performance. It has been reliable and has made a noticeable difference in our muscle recovery. Because of our great experience, we recently purchased the Theragun Prime (6th Gen) for a family member who uses it after every workout. We know it will be a valuable part of his recovery routine. After comparing the Theragun Prime (6th Gen) with our Theragun Elite (5th Gen), we found that the overall performance is very similar. There are not many noticeable differences between the two models, and both provide excellent massage quality and muscle recovery. Thank you for continuing to make high-quality products.

Best massage gun I've had! Strong and easy to hold. Don't waste money on cheaper brands. This is where its at!

I compared this to the Theragun Relief and the Rod & Todd or whatever it's called D5. The Relief was well built for the price, but didn't pack a whallop. The D5 had good power, but the build quality wasn't as high and it made a racket as I applied pressure and moves it to different positions. The Theragun Prime is considerably more expensive than either of those. And it shows. The head on this gun hits the muscle with serious conviction. Even the lowest setting can do some real work. This thing can tackle the big muscles -- quads, hams, adductors, glutes, calves -- without breaking a sweat. I use it for a few minutes as soon as I get up to get the body moving, and again later in the day to loosen everything up. It's built like a brick, no rattles, and syncs easily to the app where you can follow along with various routines. Only complaint is they should have included the thumb head, which they include with the much less expensive Relief model. Overall, a really solid piece of equipment that does what it says.

The gun works great. the speeds are very strong. It works better than the more common ones. the ones that are inexpensive.

Product has helped stiff neck problem. I use daily and feel a lot better. The button to turn on and adjust speed is hard to push. If it was a little easier the rating would be 5 stars. Easy to charge and charge lasts a long time.

This far exceeded our expectations! Battery life is great, the handle is ergonomically comfortable, and you can tell that the materials used were made to last. Well worth the price in our eyes!

Failed after 17 months. Press the power on button and LEDs flash momentarily and then turn off. I have read other customers have this issue too. Purchased December 2024 Failed May 2026 Requested customer support since this is an expensive item and it lasting barely 18 months is unacceptable. Let me start off by saying what made me buy this Theragun. I've had back pain ever since I was 18 yrs old. I had fallen and injured my back. Jump ahead several years ahead I've had acupuncture, chiropractor's , pain medicine, purple mattress, adjustable bed, cheaper massage guns, and a massage chairs, and everything that you can thing of some items helped with some pain but sooner or later id be back to square one inpain. My pain interfered with my daily routines but a few weeks ago I was visiting my son out of state and had went to Andretti indoor Karting and games and got blasted from behind by this lady and it Jared my back later that evening I could barley walk. I got in his massage chair (same as mine back home) helped a little but not enough. Then my son said try this he gave me the Theragun mini with the standard tip. After jamming it into my back until the battery wore out I did it again the next day and OMG .... I had never felt better in my entire life. My back felt incredible I was able to sleep better with zero pain,stand tall, bend over everything felt amazing. So after leaving I knew I had to get me one just incase I had an episode. So even though I liked the mini holding it was kinda rough. So I purchased the Theragun Therabody prime 5th generation and using the thumb tip for deeper soothing omg feels amazing. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has had similar issues. The handle makes it so much easier for you to administer self treatments and dig i to the pain. I will say I used my son's on level 3 when I was there, now that I have mine and it goes up to level 5 I will say as of yet I have not needed it that intense yet. I feel amazing. I also want to say start out on the lowest setting until you can withstand the pain I have a high tolerance and a high drive to feel better so I did what I needed to do to feel better. Thank you Theragun for inventing this amazing product it gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Great massage gun, very powerful, great service

Reviews of the G4 mentioned that it was too noisy - i.e. couldn't watch TV while using it. This G5 is quiet enough to allow me to watch TV while using it. It is easy to use, and easy to sync with the app - which is useful when working on particular issues.

The TheraGun is magical. It works wonderful and is so easy to use. Great for releasing neck and lower back pain.
