Never used one before but each time my partner goes way she relies on me to do the water, as has been proven many times I don’t cut the mustard! So been the engineer I invested in this wifi timer, should of done this sooner. It’s basically an automated hose pipe valve, so I had to setup the pipe work which wasn’t to bad, plug in the main plug in my house then the hose part on my hose. This even comes with a built in filter to stop any bits of deteriorating hose or debris blocking the valve. The app is plenty easy enough to use, and I even stuck it into Alexa so can use voice commands if you need an extra water or use it for something else. Which brings me to my second use, we have a little shallow fountain which often needs topping up, which I have now connected into this circuit so the bees can always have there fresh drinking water! There’s a lot of things on the app like extra schedules etc but I just stick to the basics, and it now means less time watering for the other half and more time tending to additional plants etc. I am tempted to get another so I can have a green house one which will function all the time, and then a normal outdoor one which will stop if it rains, and even possibly have a go at dropping a pump in a water butt to feed it so it’s constant rain water for the plants.

As a keen gardener I am always worried about keeping my vegetable plants watered when I go away at weekends or when I am on holiday. I therefore wanted to find a solution that would allow me to remotely control the watering of my plants or lawn. This wifi controller for my outdoor tap is the exact solution I was looking for. It is easy to setup with the app, provided that you have wifi at home. It is then a case of simplying using the app to control the flow to the hosepipe from anywhere in the world! This is a great piece of kit and allows me to remotely water my plants for however long I want using this to control the flow of water to my irrigation drip pipe, or if I attach it to my sprinkler then I can also water my lawn remotely.Another handy feature is the rain delay mode, which will actively prevent the water from turning on if it has recently rained, which is useful to save water but also to avoid overwatering.Overall I am very pleased and wish I had this years ago!

This device is really good. At first, I find it difficult connecting to the app. But it was only because I was not following the instructions properly. Once it connected, it was working perfectly fine. I tried it twice now. And now, I have set it to timer.I like this timer. Btw, this doeńt come with the sprinkler. This is just a timer. Dońt be like me who expected a sprinkler too lol

Worked but poor value for money when they fall apart

The media could not be loaded.  This is seriously the future for watering your garden, it's basically a set and forget set up.I can put it in line on my hose with the sprinkler on the end after making sure it has a full set of batteries, then set up the wifi bridge and adjust settings to come on depending on a variety of different reasons including the most obvious which would be time.As it is smart home compatible, i've actually set mine up depending on the amount of water that has fallen recently and the time of day to ensure my lawn is always well watered, but not over watered and done first thing in the morning to ensure no burning on the grass.You will need to remember to disconnect this and bring it inside once the temps drop again, but for now, it's fine staying outside until October / Novemeber when it won't be needed anyway.

I was initially looking at the link tap timer, however, couldn't justify paying the high price tag so I went for this.have to say this was so easy to set up. requires no skills 1) download the app 2) put some batteries in the timer 3) plug the hub into a socket.then for the app setup just follow the on-screen guide.after all setups, you just lay back and control/setup everything from the conform of your own phone.in the app's main screen, you are able to see the battery level/weather forecast, also you are able to setup timers for the irrigation and duration.I absolutely love it.

The ad states that you can program and control the watering timer from anywhere via the app, enabling you to control the watering system remotely from your mobile phone to operate the water timer for drip watering of your garden, lawn, patio and greenhouse. We got the unit because we were going on holiday and needed to set it up prior to our holiday. The problem is that the instructions are in every other language except English and you need to guess how to set up the unit. Due to having no English instructions, we thought the unit was faulty plus when the hub does connect it is not shown on the app. All you see it is that it is searching. It is only when you use the "return" icon you see that the hub is connected. We had to go on holiday without the facility to delay the timer when we had spells of rain. I eventually found sort of instructions if you scroll down on the Amazon page as they are hidden amongst the marketing on what the unit can do.

I found that if I plug the hub into a long extension cable and walk out of the backyard, my iPhone will connect to 2.4 GHz and the hub will be installed. After installation, I unplugged it from the extension cable and inserted it into the house. Now the effect is perfect! You can also try turning off your phone's WiFi and then turning it back on during the synchronization process, which sometimes forces your phone to connect to 2.

This is functional water timer. It is easy install. Basic function is just press the button on it then it turn on 10 minutes, sometime I just wash hands or wash something, so I don’t worry about turn off water. If I need more time I set it from my cellphone. Another basic function is schedule the sprinkler to water my garden with rain delay. It is smart. It can water my garden on time and doesn’t waste water on rain day. All control on my cellphone, I like it.

The media could not be loaded.  Ho diversi timer per le irrigazione a batteria ma sono rimasto incuriosito da questo nel momento in cui ho visto l'integrazione col wifi e con l'applicazione smart life che già utilizzo per molti altri miei dispositivis. La configurazione è stata abbastanza facile poiché diciamo che sono uno smanettone in queste cose, forse però per un utente non esperto potrebbe risultare un po' più complicato, poichè e le istruzioni non sono molto precise e ben tradotte; però in fondo vi è un link che punta a un video dimostrativo molto molto chiaro e con il quale ripetendo esattamente gli stessi passaggi si configura e installa in 5 minuti il tutto. il funzionamento è molto semplice poichè può essere gestito direttamente collegandolo al Bluetooth del telefono e quindi bisogna essere vicini al dispositivo oppure anche da remoto utilizzando una connessione Wi-Fi di casa, il tutto grazie al hub presente in confezione. Qui la prima nota di attenzione: una volta configurato l'hub bisogna ricordarsi di entrare nella configurazione dell'hub e associagli il timer dell'irrigazione affinché i 2 possano comunicare. Fatto questo, che si utilizzi il Bluetooth o il Wi-Fi, l'applicazione smart life funziona egregiamente permettendo di impostare qualunque parametro del timer (l'ora di avvio e l'ora di spegnimento piuttosto che l'ora di avvio e la durata delle irrigazione, la frequenza, intervalli di frequenza tra una accensione e l'altra, i giorni in cui avviarsi i giorni in cui rimanere spento) insomma una pianificazione estremamente completa; inoltre si può disabilitare il timer nelle giornate di pioggia. Si può anche vedere il registro degli avviamenti del timer per vedere se le sequenze impostate vengono rispettate correttamente. Inoltre nell'applicazione è presente una banda che mostra i giorni successivi col relativo meteo per impostare al meglio la quantità di acqua che si vuole erogare. Le impostazioni sono molte ma l'applicazione è veramente molto intuitiva e funziona molto bene. Il timerfunziona con 4 batterie stilo mentre l'hub attaccato è una presa domestica. La qualità costruttiva sembra molto buona per il timer, un po' leggerino per l'hub. In confezione sono presenti anche diversi adattatori per il rubinetto e il classico nastro di Teflon per evitare perdite. Dovrebbe resistere alle intemperie ma io preferisco avvolgerlo in un sacchetto che lo preservi dall'acqua battente o dai raggi del sole ( ovviamente un sacchetto nero) o dove possibile installarlo direttamente nel pozzetto dove c'è il rubinetto dell'acqua. In ingresso al timer è presente inoltre un filtro che ne preserva l'ingresso di impurità. Con l'applicazione è possibile vedere lo stato di carica delle batterie e la qualità del segnale Wi-Fi. Sono molto soddisfatto dell'acquisto, poichè anche in vacanza posso regolare tranquillamente l'irrigazione dal telefono

J'ai un jardin avec un potager et c'est toujours compliqué d’arroser quand je pars en vacances, il me fallait trouver une solution pratique.J’ai trouvé ce programmateur.Le gros point fort de ce minuteur c'est qu'il est connecté en wifi, ce qui me permet de pouvoir arroser quand je veux et ou je veux.Facile à connecter via le manuel, on télécharge une application sur son smartphone et on peut déclencher l'eau à distance, je suis bien content et surtout rassuré pour cet été.J'ai mis un tuyau d'arrosage avec un arroseur au bout et je le déclenche en étant en vacances quand je le souhaite.On peut également mettre un minuteur pour un arrosage automatique, par exemple moi je mets un arrosage un matin sur 2 en plein été de 5h à 5h20 c’est parfait
