Finally a good stool (for a tall guy)
I have searched far and wide in an attempt to find a guitar stool that would meet my needs. Most of the stools that are out there are too short for a guy like me who is 6’1. Finally I came upon this chair and I am ever grateful to those who have built it and made it available. It’s nothing fancy but it does exactly the job that it is supposed to do. It’s comfortable, built well, and it leaves you focusing on your guitar and not what you’re sitting on while you’re playing it

Makes practicing and playing so much easier!
I was getting tired of playing in a regular chair, hunched over, I always tried to prop my right leg up on something so my Taylor 214 would ride higher. I actually like using the top rung, tucks the guitar closer into my chest snugly. It is sturdy and well built, put together with just 4 acres in 5 minutes. At first I thought it may be a knock off because I did not see the Fender logo. It's embossed in the seat. Classy.I highly recommend this for a guitarist. I bought a Manhasset music stand which is taller also, they pair well together.

Great stool / old busted box.
I have a bad lower back. And this stool / chair is a lifesaver. The most back support I have found whilst playing . That’s the “good”. The “bad” is.... I don’t know if my box had been dragged around the warehouse or the UPS truck but the chrome footrest ring was almost totally exposed / very mildly scuffed after poking through the box sides . True; a solid box- but perhaps needs better inside reinforcement/protection. I dunno. That said; I would buy another. A solid stool. Still looks fine .

*The* guitar chair for home studios
The Fender barstool should be the standard against all guitar chairs are judged. It’s the perfect height, and comfortable enough to play for hours. It’s sturdy, and provides great support for my back when I play.

Perfect fit and comfort
Super easy (4) Screw assembly. Perfect height with solid frame for foot placement. Enhanced playability from several grip positions. My practice quality improved immediately.

Great product! Highly recommend
Seat could be a little softer (maybe will break in over time?). Perfect height, nice swivel function, but mainly the second rung makes it the perfect stool for playing guitar.

Damaged twice in a row
I am now sending my second stool back as it to had rips in the front of the backrest. This second one has even bigger rips, and they are in both sides. There are accompanying tears in the foam covering the backrest, so i would chalk this up to shoddy packaging. Unless you want to put electrical tape on a $150 stool, i do NOT recommend

Accommodates big and tall
I bought this for my fiance for xmas and he said it's one of his favorite gifts. He was on vacation for 2 weeks during the holidays and had about 10 days to test it outbefore going back to work. He usually spends multiple hours a day on his base, and he sat on this stool playing everyday for about 3 consecutive hours each day. Around the 2nd day he complained about the foot rest being uncomfortable, which is normal without the proper shoes. Around day 7 he had taken an old throw pillow and was using it for extra cushion which was not normal with any of the stools that he had previously owned , so he had to purchase a fitted cushion for comfort. It's been almost a month and the Construction is nice, the back rest is nice and overall the stool is very durable and sturdy supporting his 6'2" 270 lb frame. Make sure you get a cushion for long term sitting being that the seat can become a bit hard. Other than that it's a Great purchase.
