Very high tech electric bike
I've had the bike 4 months as of the time of this writing and use it 3 to 5 times a week to commute to work. It is a very high tech bike. On a number of occasions if it rained or my wife was in the area we folded the bike in half and put it in the trunk and drove home. It has self charging technology. What do I mean by that? If you peddle, it charges the bike. If you go down a hill without assist, it charges the bike. By regulation it has a regulator at about 20mph. You can peddle assist down hill and hit speeds of 25 to 35mph. There is a mile stretch on my commute slightly down hill where the speed limit is 25mph and I often beat the cars. The charge on the bike with moderate hills lasts 21 miles with no assist. With peddle assist on hills you can get a little over 24 to 25 miles. If it was flat, you would likely get the mileage they advertised (like in Florida). I am really impressed with the bike and give it 5 stats overall. Most people it is a great bike. There are a few exceptions like with everything else. It is made by the Chinese and designed for the Chinese. I would not recommend the bike for someone over 5'10". It is built for shorter people. I am 5'9" and I am fairly hunched over on it (it can hurt my neck after riding for 25 miles). There is just about zero suspension on the bike. I replaced the bike seat neck with a shock absorber neck and I get better suspension results. The clamp for the bike seat neck wasn't that good and I replaced it. After roughly 850 miles of use I have had to fill the tires twice. The front tire came loose once and I just reclamped it on by hand and it has been fine since then. Like most bikes the back end is too heavy and it can fishtail when peddling, using assist, and slight turns. I did wipe out and broke my toe, strained a pec, and cut myself up pretty good. All my fault, but the take away is the bike is powerful. It will pop a wheelie. I would not recommend this bike for anyone under 14 and no one over 60. It is just too powerful. With that said, I β€ the power. It is an awesome bike and I would buy it again. It is not super comfortable, but I have never known a bike to be comfortable and have riden bikes all the years of my 50 year old life. It offset gas this summer. So from a financial standpoint of view it was worth it and fun. I have used it in a downpour a few times. It didn't short out. So that was cool.

KGK ELECTRIC BIKE
I like my new electric bike. The price was right and the features as described in the Amazon listing were what I was looking for. When deciding to buy the bike the built-in rack was an important feature for me. The folding frame and the 20-inch wheels were also important due to my needing to keep it in my small studio apartment. The delivery of the bike came quickly and was well packaged and undamaged. The bike needed just minor assembly, and the brakes and gears needed no final adjustment. I have owned folding bikes previously and the front-wheel headset on those bikes were not tight, but on this bike the headset is solid. I like the removable battery; before putting the bike on a bus rack, I take out the battery, put it into my backpack, and I can then lift the bike onto the rack without strain. The seat post is well secured by a quick release that does not allow the post to slide or creep down while riding - some others do. I like the bike's all matt-black finish, but I wish they had used natural color alloy for the wheels and spokes, it would have made the bike look really sharp. The 7-gears are fine, you do not need more. I weigh about 145 lbs and find this ebike to have more, and smoother power than my eScooter.I am not too happy with the electronics; a digital display, including MPH, would have been nice but I guess would have increased the sales price. The electronics display is a series of LED's for battery charge status and power assist. I usually set the power assist at (1) and the bike in 5th gear - a higher gear makes it tough to pedal from a standing start and until the motor kicks in. On any kind of incline I use the bike pedals to assist the battery. When pedaling from a standing start the power assist cuts in with a scary jolt, so I try to eliminate that by applying the cruise control before the auto power assist can kick-in. Much smoother that way. I wish the designers had allowed the cruise control to work when the power assist was set at (0) but no go. When riding I find I have to be much more aware of the ebike status due to the combination of: power assist, cruise control, and gear settings, than when riding a normal bike. When negotiating the zig-zag entry gates to a bike path I was almost thrown off the bike when the power assist kicked-in, I have since learnt to disengage the assist by pressing the assist power OFF button when approaching similar situations. But all-in-all I am happy with my purchase. I give it a solid 4-star rating.
