4.0 out of 5 stars — Brilliant fail-safe backup! Zero downtime, though missing an internal rechargeable battery. The Meetion Wireless Bluetooth Vertical Mouse (Battery Version) is an outstanding productivity tool that turns a missed feature into a major advantage. While it is easy to overlook that this specific version runs on a standard disposable battery rather than a rechargeable internal cell, it makes a phenomenal backup or travel mouse because you never have to wait around for a charge cable when your primary device goes dead. Zero-Downtime Battery Power: Operating on a single standard AA battery, this mouse provides instant power redundancy. Instead of being stuck tethered to a short USB cable waiting for an internal battery to top off, you can simply swap the cell in seconds and immediately get back to work. True 60-Degree Ergonomic Posture: The natural, upright vertical design mimics a neutral "handshake" angle. It shifts the mechanical pressure away from your carpal tunnel and wrist, radically reducing muscle fatigue and forearm twisting during grueling data-entry marathons. 3-Device Multi-Host Connectivity: It features a robust multi-channel wireless chip supporting dual Bluetooth channels and a 2.4GHz wireless USB receiver. You can pair it with your laptop, desktop, and tablet simultaneously, toggling seamlessly between them with a quick bottom-switch tap. Proportioned for Full Palm Support: Specifically scaled with a larger, more supportive chassis, it gives your entire hand a dedicated place to rest. The deep thumb scoop and textured grip surfaces keep your hand completely stable without requiring tight pinching. Adjustable Precision Tracking: It features responsive, adjustable optical sensitivity settings scaling up to 3200 DPI. It lets you dial in the exact pointer speed needed for tight spreadsheets or expansive multi-monitor laptop configurations. The battery efficiency is exceptional, yielding up to 3 months of continuous use on a single cell. If you want a comfortable, joint-friendly input device that ensures you are never sidelined by a dead internal battery, this multi-device shell is a stellar addition to your desk setup

Great mouse so far
Update: This is an update to my original review. I DID take the plastic off of the skates. No question there. And I didn't like the feel of it so I put tape on them. When changing the tape ANOTHER LAYER of the plastic that was covering the skates came off. First layer was black, second was blue...so I guess I didn't get the whole dang thing off. NOW the mouse is absolutely perfect in my opinion. Upgraded from my original 4 star to 5. MY opinion based on MY experience... So far I'm liking this mouse with one exception. For starters....Once I tried the vertical mouse I can never go back (this is not my first one). I've been using this about a week so far and this is a comfortable mouse and fits my hand well. I don't believe i have a large hand. F/58. For me, it has everything I need in options. Some features I don't even use. It can be used while charging however I haven't needed to as it holds a charge very well even With the lights on!! They can be turned off if desired. However I haven't noticed if there's a low battery light feature... Speeds for navigating are great. Love that I can either use the dongle or Bluetooth, it's mainly always Bluetooth for me personally. My one big complaint is that Once again FOR ME, it doesn't glide well enough on my mouse pad. There's significant drag that was definitely hindering my work capabilities. And I did give it a few days. Ultimately, I had to place tape on the skates for a perfect glide "for me." Definitely recommend this mouse based on overall qualities!

So much potential with the way this mouse is designed!
Whoever was the industrial designer for this mouse should be a contender for a design award. Seriously. Since ergonomics is mainstream nowadays, and there are some universal traits across all human hands, the mold for this mouse not only addresses hand angle, but really considers where you rest your fingers and palm pad with cutouts and surfaces that really caters to them. Also, with other mice, they rely on your fingers other than your thumb to exert a good amount of force to move other mice around. This mouse actually shifts that balance a bit, with the rear of the mouse being thicker where the base of your thumb and your palm pad rests on the mouse, which to me makes more sense, as they're the larger, stronger parts of your hand for mouse usage. This then relieves the stress and the responsibilities that often afflicts the other fingers, relegating them more to just simply either resting or clicking mouse buttons. My existing mouse that I'm replacing that seems to be glitching recently is one of the earliest Anker vertical mice with a much simpler design. The finger pads of my thumb, my pinkie finger, and a little bit of my palm pad are the points used to move my old mouse around. I really think the design of the mouse I'm reviewing is more efficient than my Anker in this regard. Meanwhile, trying out ergonomic high-touch human interface devices is a lot like trying on clothes. I've ordered several ergonomic, vertical mice to try, and will probably return most of them. One of them is the Logitech Lift which is nowhere nearly as comfortable as this mouse. And I really, really want my hand to fit this mouse, because that's how much I really dig this mouse. Unfortunately, it's a tad small, where the last digit of all of my fingers protrude beyond the buttons of the mouse. For reference, my middle finger is 8 inches from the point my hand meets my wrist to the tip of my middle finger. The scroll wheel is in the middle of my middle finger. It's not too difficult to imagine my fingers frequently curling up in order to use this mouse. So, I'm compelled to return this mouse. (Funny, as I'm typing on my ergo keyboard, I'm also noticing that it's a bit "small" for my hands too, but that's another story.) But I *REALLY* want to keep it because it seems so well designed for my hand otherwise. I wouldn't mind plugging a USB cable into it every night before heading to bed to top off its charge if my hands were only smaller. Also, what's up with the current spate of mice having quiet buttons- but the current trend of keyboards is to have clicky keys?

Skeptically Optimistic
Purchased mid September 2023. I am writing this review at the end of December 2023. I have been suffering from horrible wrist pain for eons, but the flare ups have increased in frequency so I purchased this mouse. I am right handed and I have noticed a decrease in pain in that wrist when I am not using the mouse with poor posture or at odd angles. The odd angle and posture circumstances are unrelated to the effectiveness of the mouse. I have enjoyed using this mouse and have noticed the difference enough that I carry it between work and home for various uses. I love that it has wireless and bluetooth capabilities. The amount of times that I left the usb dongle at one place or the other (lazy me didn't want to have to push the switch between the different connections) that I purchased a bluetooth dongle for my work computer that did not have it and now I push the switch button, but I tried not to. Comfort-wise, the finger indents aid in the grip comfort and my pinky does not drag on the mouse pad. The forward and back buttons are located well enough for use. Getting used to the grip isn't too difficult and now regular mice feel weird. I do notice I change my grips or cannot settle on a grip; it depends on my activity or if I need the forward button a bunch. I enjoy the RGB feature and the buttons and such are all well placed for my hand. I am not sure how long the battery is estimated to last, but I can go roughly four to seven days without charging it, and I use it fairly frequently; seven hours at work then after work most days another three to five hours for gaming and general uses. On top of how long I use it, I also leave the RGB on the entire time. I personally would love more RGB coverage and or pattern and color control, but that is a preference and I purchased this knowing those limits. On the same topic, something that I have noticed, or not noticed, a color indicator for low battery, searching, connecting, etc. I will be working and the mouse cuts the power out of nowhere. I need to do more testing, but I believe that the mouse will not function while charging. My biggest complaint! The DPI button's location. I am constantly pushing the button on accident and it is extremely frustrating. I wish it was located at the top edge between the thumb buttons and the left click button; the mouse speed changing randomly is irritating and upsetting, especially when gaming. Pros: -Noticed health improvement -Grip and the location of the buttons are comfortable to use -Battery life is decent, remember to turn off when not in use! -Color lights! -Multiple ways of connecting to devices Cons: -!!!DPI button location!!! -No indicator lights (that I have seen) -No color control -Potentially no function while charging This review has my opinions, how the product could be improved, and my personal preferences. I truly recommend this product, and want to purchase another one so I stop having to take it to and from work. I originally went with this product for the company name causing me to think of a new important character in a a videogame I play and that amused me. Now I am staying to see how their other products perform; I am going to try out one of their ergonomic keyboards next because I want to see if it improves the pain in both wrists, not just the one. The mouse helped reduce the pain in my right wrist by about 20%(I'm bad at estimating things), but I am hoping that the keyboard compounds on the improvements.

Quality left handed ergo mouse for a fair price
As a lefty, I find that there are few ergo mice out there so I was glad to come across this option. I've been using it for a few months now and I have zero complaints. It's accurate, pairs seamlessly with my Windows laptop, and most importantly, is comfortable in my hand. I like the LED glow around its base, even though when using it my hand covers the light. It's a mouse; it works; it's affordable; if you're a lefty, give it a try.

Kind of meh...
I like the shape of this mouse--it's more comfortable to use than a conventional mouse. The resolution seems to change randomly so it's a bit tough to get a consistent feel for this unit. I think that the one thing that really disappoints me is the battery life. I have to charge the mouse every week or so, which is a little inconvenient. My other rechargeable mouses last for over a month of consistent use, so this has a really short life. On top of that, when the charge gets below 30%, it seems like the response, both in time and resolution, is severely degraded. Once it reaches that point, the cursor jumps around and has a pretty severe lag. This makes that last 30% of the battery life almost unusable. This further shortens the battery life. Since I paid for it, I'll keep using this mouse, but I'm thinking an upgrade is probably fairly near on the horizon. It will be worth a few bucks to drastically increase the battery life and sensitivity.

5 stars!
I was hesitant to try a mouse like this before, but my hand has started to feel really sore from being on computer all day due to work and being a gamer as well. So, I tried this, and I'm glad I did. This does give you a natural grip and it does not make my hand ache after a while of using it. I also love the style of it. Very clean look with LED light. I loveee <3 Buy it!

Mostly love it but a little too big for small hands
This is my first left-handed mouse, and I mostly love it. It's too big for my small hand, and I wish there were a way to adjust the height or an attachable wrist pad. If I hold the mouse comfortably, my wrist is up in the air, so I have to grip the mouse a little harder to hold on. I dug out my adapter to connect the USB connector, but that was too unwieldy to use permanently, and I almost returned the mouse before I realized it had bluetooth connectivity. That seems to be working well, so I'm thrilled. It only took a few minutes to get used to using my middle finger for the left click and my index finger for the right click. The roller works well, and I'm finding myself sometimes using my index finger for the roller, which lets my wrist settle on the desk a little more comfortably, so that might be a long-term modification for me. The Meetion mouse came with a battery, which I appreciated, as the other brand, right-handed mouse I bought didn't. I bought a right-handed Nulea vertical mouse at the same time and like the texture and feel of it, but it's even bigger, and I can't use it comfortably, so I'll be returning that one. Really, at this point, I think my biggest problem is remembering to use the mouse so my right wrist gets a break from the trackpad on my Macbook, which was the entire reason I wanted an ergonomic mouse to begin with!
