Small tin, goes a long way..
Can’t believe how this liquorice chalk paint has transformed my Welsh dresser.. I’m really impressed how far such a small tin goes.. going to try some other colours 😊🤔

Perfect for up cycling
I truly cannot recommend this paint enough. I had my reservations when buying such a small pot but I only used over half a tin on this bedside table- 2 coats. Naturally I sanded first and put an undercoat on. See photos for what my bedside table looked like before! One thing I will say is make sure you do even coats as the brush work is very noticeable in the light. Dries very quickly and little odour. I can’t wait to use this on real wood and not melamine!

lovely
I buy this Paint for most of my furniture the picture of the drawers I've attached started life as awful white gloss so I use this paint and then wax it (bear in mind colour may differ slightly than my colour)hope it helps

Beautiful tone of dusty / pale creamy pink - but doesn’t cover as well as others in the range
This is my favourite make of chalk paint, and I paint furniture regularly but whenever I can I choose a colour from the Shabby Chic Furniture Paint range. Their Licuorice and Chalky White are both lovely. This colour I didn’t use before, from the first look I can’t agree with the previous reviewer noting it’s grey-pink. It does look strawberry yoghurt to me? It’s a creamy pink slight lilac undertone and very slight greyish - so more close to a dusty pink tone and won’t stand out as ‘baby pink’ at all - it’s not at all like that. I have a few Neptune items in their Oyster Pink linen and this colour resembles that closely - if this helps. I gave it four stars only though because of the coverage not being as good as other colours in the range. I paint quite thin coats, and painting the inside of a greenish mid-grey cabinet, I needed 3 coats to cover it fully. So I had to order a third pot and now paid more for 750ml than I would’ve for a 1L pot, simply because it doesn’t cover as well as what I’m used to when using this paint. It’s a shame because the colour is gorgeous, it will look lovely when I finish - a French linen cabinet in Licuorice black, with strawberry yoghurt shelves inside. It’s just as I planned it to look, hence still deserves 4 stars.

Pretty special stuff.
In love with this paint! Turned a tired set of drawers into something pretty special. Went on beautifully. A little sure does go a long way! I bought 250ml and its covered these drawers, a bigger six set of drawers and a wardrobe. Still have some left and that's with three coats! Instead of spending £500 on new furniture, this paint and a set of new knobs has cost me £20, and I prefer the end result! Upcycling is the way forward!

Not the best quality
Not the best quality. Took 4 coats to get a semi-decent coverage on an old chest of drawers. In comparison, had a tin of rustoleum chalk paint in a cupboard for over a year. Took only 2 coats to cover a glass jar I was upcycling. I know it's a different surface, but it gives you an idea of how they compare.

Worst chalk paint I've ever used
I bought this to makeover an old set of drawers, choosing this brand as neither of the ones I've used before had the colour I wanted and I was stupid enough to believe the positive reviews. I have previously worked with Johnson's and Rustoleum and found them both thick and creamy, providing even coverage in just one or two coats, this watery rubbish ran out after 5 coats and the finish is still patchy. I am going to have to strip the piece and start over again using better paint, I would not recommend this at all.

Will definitely buy again!
This is such a great product.I painted my wooden fire place chalky black from white.I bought two tubs of this as they are quite small, but well worth the money!I used two coats just to be sure but I could have got away with only one.I did prime before painting, I just used this
