Excellent! Holds Heavy Curtains!

These held a good 15 pounds of velvet curtains with no issues! Keeps light out too with the rounded edges. Easy install as well!

Sleek and easy to install!

Love the quality and look of this curtain rod! I hate seeing the long curtains rod holders coming out of the wall so this was a great option for a clean look.

Missing parts and instructions!

This product came with about half the items needed for install:No screws! No anchors!Only one extension rod!Broken center support piece! No installation instructions!Luckily my wife and I are handy and keep extra parts from all of our products so we were able to rig most of the setup. The broken middle piece is currently gluing together. We will see if that works or if we have to entirely dismantle the setup. I have never had a problem with an Amazon refurbished product until now.I only gave it two stars because it looks great once installed, otherwise it would have been a one star review.

Simple yet pretty

I really like how these look. I enjoy a sleek minimal design, and these definitely fit that criteria. Four stars is because the bolts and snugs for the hardware. They would be fine if you were drilling them into a stud but that is seldom the case when hanging curtains. Mine pulled out of the wall within 24 hours of hanging just sheers on the rod. One trip to HD fixed the problem. If you want this to be a one-step process, don’t use the screws and snugs that come with this rod. I highly recommend using EZ Ancor Drywall Anchors. I used the 50lb (orange pack) as the screw size you will need has to fit into the bracket that you will slip the rod onto. Also, the screws that came with the anchors are longer and therefore more steady. Save yourself a step and buy these before planning your install.

Sturdy, simple, & easy to hang!

Definitely love these curtain rods. They're really easy to hang - the curtain ends/center basically slide onto a removable piece that allows you to measure and mark holes for drilling. They seem pretty sturdy and I love that the corners wrap around the sides - no annoying poles or ends to deal with. I hung them on higher windows and I'll probably come up with a way to move the curtains to avoid pulling too hard or much, but these seem pretty functional and would definitely be with easier-to-reach curtains.THANK YOU a million zillion times to the reviewer that recommended the EZ Anchors (50 lbs., orange label for drywall or studs) - the plastic ones that come included are not great, but with the sturdy metal ones, it was perfect! I also highly recommend purchasing alternative anchors.I'll be buying more and would definitely recommend!

Not a total fail but not worth the hassle

Here’s my review of the rod itself:The wraparound design is what sold me. I really liked the look, and before testing out one, I bought multiple 144-inch rods to use across my living room. Once I had them, I didn’t want to mix and match different styles, so I committed to making them work. The rod design isn’t entirely consistent. One box came with six rods, another came with five. The instructions weren’t very clear either. The small and medium rods aren’t built for heavy curtains. They’re fine for sheers or lightweight panels. If you’re hanging blackout or lined curtains, you’ll need to rely on the large rod and possibly the medium, and only if you reinforce the setup correctly. Here’s what I did to make it work (especially for beginners):After reading reviews where the brackets pulled out of the drywall, I started by trying the included hardware. But even before I finished, I realized it wouldn’t be strong enough. So I switched to heavy-duty plastic self-drilling drywall anchors rated for 75 lbs (not the metal kind—those are for things like TVs). Do not use the screws that come with the rod or the anchors. The heads are too bulky and block the bracket’s backplate from sliding into place. Use #8 flat-head screws so everything sits flush. To install:Screw the anchor into the wall first. Then set the bracket over it and drive the screw in.If the anchor spins, stop and switch to a screwdriver. You either hit a stud or you're about to strip it.Beginners, don't panic if you hear a snap that's just the anchor locking into place.Extra tips for beginners:If you don’t have strong wrists or upper body strength, drill a small pilot and use a SMALL drill bit. This makes it easier to push the anchor in and then you can hand screw the rest of the way or use a screw driver. If you're new to this minimize using a drill or go very slow so you don't strip the anchor or the screw itself.Pro tip: Use a magnetic drill bit extension to help steady the screw, especially when working near the ceiling if you want that high end look. Be mindful with the stud finders because on some windows it beeped showing a stud and when I screwd in just the screw itself that area was hollow. In that case you just switch to the anchor and proceed with the steps.Pro tip: If the anchor stops going in and feels blocked, you probably hit a stud. Always double-check—and for beginners, a beeping stud finder works better than one that just lights up.The panels I have are blackout and heavy so even with a center bracket, the rod started pulling slightly at the curve. I bought and added extra brackets before the curve to stabilize it. On the windows where I hit studs, I only needed the center bracket.Final tip (if you’re using curtain rings):They can catch where the rods connect and I tried using a special rod connector tape (designed to smooth the transition between rod sections), but it didn’t work for me because i didnt like the way it looked on the rods. The company may have something to fix this but I didn't check.Bonus tip (about finish damage):I also saw reviews mentioning that the color can start to chip or wear off the rods over time especially if you're using curtain rings and sliding them often. To prevent that, I sealed my rods with a clear topcoat. But don’t make the same mistake I did: I used a matte sealer that turned parts of the rod white. If your rods have a matte finish, use a matte or satin sealer that dries clear and won’t haze or leave residue. For the reamining windows in my home I switched to non wrap around rods with less hassle. I can't say the rods are a total fail and they do look nice but I dont think I purchase these for hesvy duty use. Hope this helps someone and good luck!Update:I ordered extra brackets to reinforce additional rods and noticed they came with twist style anchors. That made me check the other packaging I had from the rod sets. Some included small plastic anchors with tiny screws while others had the twist anchors but still paired with those same weak screws. The anchors might be usable but I recommend stronger screws or using your own anchors rated 50 to 75 pounds if your hanging heavy curtains.
