probably a better choice for most people than what it's based on, price and accessibility wise. I personally ordered the PEI version because i like the fact that it will not set off any metal detectors.

like I said great quality, nice lil knuckle duster. slight chip on top left in pic but whatever. sucks cause $40some isn't cheap; but i'm sure it'll get banged up on my keys anyway.

I absolutely love this little knuck. I had been looking at the originals, and while I love the design I struggle to justify spending $200 for an EDC “toy”. Throw in the fact that unless you’re on an instagram mailing list you’re probably not getting one of the originals unless you are willing to pay through the nose to buy from private sellers. I love just tossing it in my pocket, it works great as a bottle opener, the edge is sharp enough to open an Amazon box but not enough to be considered a blade, and it fits well enough on my thick fingers to still be useful in an emergency. It’s slightly smaller than the original, but otherwise the quality and durability are top notch. I got the grey but will probably go back for the multi color at some point.
