Eastpak - Tranverz XXS - Black

Searched high and low for legit carry on within limits of Qantas and FIJI AIR and Finnair and other flights in Australia, Fiji and Africa where the two bag carry on limit is 41 linear inches per bag and 7kg limit per bag. We travel the world light and fast and never check bags (search Qantas bag abuse for videos of the abuse they will do to your bags if you check). Tried a number of 4 pound bags with 2 wheels and there are just not many that get under 41 linear inches and just 4 pounds with quality. This bag in XXS size meets the need with quality handle and quality wheels that roll smooth and quietly. Fair measurement of bag dimensions when fully packed is 18 inches high by 12.5 wide by 8 inches deep.....which adds up to 40.5 linear inches and just within the 41 linear inch Qantas Airline limits if you plan to carry two bags on the plane (wife and I also each carry a medium size backpack that is our second bag within the 41 inch limit).I packed it with 7 shirts, 7 bottoms (shorts and pants), two packable jackets (one puff and one rain), flip flops, socks and underwear and everything I got it at just under the 7kg/15 pound limit including bag zipped up and ready to go with a hat in there. Do the math and that is 49 outfit combos (7x7). Like the quality zippers and lock. Also using it for Africa trips where we face similar strict size carry on limits and requirement of soft luggage for the little water and bush planes. Final picture is with my really light little camera backpack that has underwater cameras, Lumix G9 with multiple lenses, 17 inch computer and all cables and chargers and also under 7kg. I am 6'2 tall and 210 pound, hiker and surfer and photographer and doing trips over a month long, so if I can pack this light you can likely do even better.
