I just put it up today so it’s too early to comment on durability, but I am very pleased with how it looks, and how it performs. The assembly Instructions advise having 2 people, but I did it alone. I just used big sofa pillows to prop it up as I attached each blade to prevent the weight from causing it to bend. I moved slowly, and assembly took about 30 minutes to attach all the blade. The instructions have the parts marked however, my parts were not marked, so I suggest leaving the blades wrapped until you’re ready to begin assembly. The 4 blades wrapped together are for the upper part and the 6 blades wrappes together are for the lower part. Don’t get them mixed up. My package had only the 6 lower blades wrapped together and that’s how I was able to determine that they must be the lower blades. I began assembly by attaching the 4 upper blades, and then moved to the 6 lower blades. *Follow the steps in the assembly exactly as instructed* DO NOT attach the wind spinner to the rod until AFTER the prongs are inserted and secured in the ground. IMPORTANT - use a level and check to make sure that the rod is level vertically. This WILL make a difference on how well your spinner performs. I am impressed with the sturdiness of the rod and the prongs as I inserted them into the ground. I used a rubber mallet to firmly pound them in the last few inches that worked well. I am also impressed by the size; the spinner is big enough to be impressive, but not so big that it looks out of place.

I absolutely love this wind spinner. It's quite tall and mesmerizing to watch spinning in the breeze. I'm not a put-together type person and it took me a minute to figure out which side of the blades to connect to the main piece. Once I got that figured out, the rest of the spinner was put together in record time. I had my son place it in my garden and when the wind blew a couple of the blades scraped slightly. He tightened the screws a bit more and the scraping stopped. I absolutely love the color and the appearance of it in my mother's flower garden. It was a great purchase.

I purchased 4 of these for gifts this year. I assembled them, but didn’t attach the stand and them ‘wrapped’ them in the extra large bags meant to wrap large odd- shaped items like a bicycle. Assembly was pretty straightforward and took less than 10 minutes. A screw driver is included - no other tools necessary for assembly. The least bit of wind makes this move, in different directions at the same time making it mesmerizing to watch. The red is more of a dark red, almost burgundy color..very pretty. Pole stand is solid and sturdy. If placing it in hard soil I suggest using a rubber mallet, NOT A METAL HAMMERotherwise you likely to bend the post. Attractive addition to any outdoor space and THE PERFECT GIFT for those who have everything, and really have no space inside to put more stuff. Win, win. 👍🏻👍🏻

I bought 2of these-1 for my sisters (early birthday) Her spinner was easy to put together and is absolutely beautiful! It was packaged well no problems I have not put mine together yet because I’m not home very long. But I will assemble it soon I
