I am very impressed. Super-fast shipping. Very simple to install. Lightweight but powerful. I have a room that's 10 x 30. It's rated for 150 square feet, but after 20 minutes I had to dial it back to the low setting. Super quiet on low. So much better than the A/C that it replaced. I am very pleased so far. Hopefully it lasts awhile.

People leaving bad reviews need to read the product description and understand it's meant for 150 square feet, it's not going to cool much more than that. Our house is old and doesn't have central air so we needed something specifically for our bedroom in order to be comfortable at night during the heatwaves as the house wouldn't cool below 85/90 degrees at night.Without even having this unit on the lowest setting, it noticeably cooled our room down within an hour of being on. This is a great little A/C for a small room, and much to our surprise, the power bill hardly increased after a few weeks of nightly use. Would definitely recommend.

Works well for small room have it in a space of 100 sqft and it's cold have to turn it down sometimes, knob window airs are the best I've had tons of digital airs once you clean them outside or they freeze the circuit board starts giving problems, got to go back to the old days, my Frigidaire refrigerator is 22 years old and works like new

This 5k btu unit AC works extremely well. I am in central Texas, it gets hot as hell down here. It is installed on my 10x10 insulated shed. nothing but electronics in it so It needs to keep the inside temp from 77-85 Degrees F. So far so good. It works a whole lot better than my 12k btu unit that was previously installed. More to follow.

This unit fits nicely in my small double hung window. I use it in my utility room in an older home that the central AC doesn’t cover. It was very hot in there with the gas dryer and gas water heater. Now it stays nice and comfortable when doing laundry. The unit is pleasant to look at, very quiet, and simple to operate. A quality product that includes everything you need to mount in your window. Overall a very good value.

Amazing for my bedroom! I’ve had other brands/types and I love this one. The first one they sent me was broken and return/pickup was so easy! So easy to install and not super heavy!

The absolute worst air conditioner I have ever bought. Extremely loud, loud enough to wake me up at night. I would not recommend this at all and will never buy another LG

If you're someone who is looking for an inexpensive a/c, doesn't like to blast a/c all day and sensitive to noise, this unit is probably going to be a great fit. It does cool rapidly on 7 to max strength, still not as noisy as most competitors' (still louder than quiet tower fans), but before that point it almost just feels like a fan. If you're looking to blast chill air all day especially in a 300+ sqft room, you should def skip this one.
