A good book but just be aware it is written for the American reader. So when she is talking taxes ect it is for the American reader. However there is still plenty of good advice for the UK.

It is US relevant, not UK!!
I bought this book as a gift for my daughter who is hoping to start up a dog grooming business in Birmingham. It never occurred to me that such a book, sold on the UK Amazon site, would be about starting up a business in the US! Their taxes and laws are too different to ours and personally I feel this book is not really relevant for the UK market. It does have some useful general information, but for the price, it is really a waste of money. Unfortunately, because I did not realise this problem until I was due to give my daughter the book, I could not return it for a refund. Very disappointed. Amazon should be more responsible and ensure their goods are for the correct market!

Starting a business?
This is a great book when thinking of starting a business in dog grooming. Although it is American a lot still applies to the UK. Mostly along the common sense route but a lot of tips that you may forget along the way. A handy book to keep as reference.
