provides a reliable and efficient solution for extending HDMI signals over distances.
I requested this one because I need another device to extend the HDMI signal over more than 100 ft. This allowed me to transmit HDMI signals (up to 4K/30HZ) at a distance of roughly 110 ft or so. (By the way, it says you can also transmit the signal with 1080p at 230ft (70m) over CAT6/7 cables, but I didn’t test this so I cannot comment on it)The following are the reasons why I liked this particular model. It features surge/lightning/ESD protection, making it more durable and resistant to power surges; which is a must for the remote camping site we installed this at.The dual IR enables us to control the devices remotely. Additionally, it has an HDMI loopout that allows us to display the same signal on two different displays simultaneously.Another feature of this device is the RS232 control, which provides advanced control options for professional installations. The RS232 control allows for remote control of the device, probably making it ideal for use in commercial settings (our vacation site is for our family use only, so it was actually installed in a personal setting).Overall, I think this is an excellent device that provides a reliable and efficient solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances. Its numerous features and high-quality construction make it a must-have for anyone who wants to have a seamless and uninterrupted viewing experience.

Not 4k capable
We needed to add TVs to our current setup. We were replacing a 2 port splitter were we had 3 TVs in use. One was coming off the HDMI port and the 2 others were using the cat6 connections. Thought this would be a simple swap out of the hardware. NOT SO..... The HDMI out port would only display at 800x600. Any other resolution would not display. That ain't no 4k. Also the extender ports would not display at all (with the HDMI out cable installed) until the resolution was dropped to 800x600. If you unplugged the HDMI out, then the extender resolution could be increased only to 1600x900 resolution. These are 4k TVs so not sure why there would be any limitation as the old splitter has no issue with 4k resolution.

Easy to configure and works like a charm
Do you want to split one HDMI source into two outputs? I know I did--that's why I ordered this device. You can split the source HDMI input into two CAT 6/7 ethernet cables. What really impressed me is the minimal--if any--loss in quality of the output video. Seriously--I couldn't even tell the difference. Set up was effortless, picture quality was killer and there was little to no latency. Highly recommended!!
