Its just a plastic tub, yes but it works perfectly in a freezer and fits the matching ice trays
The plastic doesn't get brittle when it's frozen and it is a perfect size for me, I have 3 for the ice types I use and they are great.

Good shape
Holds large bag of ice from supermarket. Easy access nice and neat in freezer shelf. Fill with own made ice cubes now.

The perfect ice cube bin
Perfect for homemade ice cubes. Fits easily in the freezer and is so easy to wash. Holds about six trays of standard ice cubes. Very useful and looks neat in your freezer.

Exactly what I was looking for. Deep enough, yet fits well into my freezer. Now I don't have to worry that my ice cubes keep falling out of the existing shallow container that came with the fridge..+ I can make more longer ice cubes to store for just incase days when guests pop over fro drinks! 🍹🍺🥃🥤🧉🧊

Great Product
After I inadvertently left my original ice bin (that came with the fridge/freezer) in the dishwasher on the drying cycle, it came out absolutely warped! Needless to say, I had to get a replacement. This Rubbermaid bin is the perfect bin that does the job. In the summer time especially, I go through a ton of ice cubes and having that extra storage for the excess cubes is the answer. Rubbermaid is a trusted name and the quality is sturdy and top notch let alone the perfect size for my fridge/freezer. I find it fits better than my original bin.

Strong and space efficient
While looking for an ice cube bin for my freezer, I found a popular brand of food storage containers was selling a freezer-safe container with removable lids. This item was about $8-9 cheaper than the Rubbermaid ice bin so I went with the cheaper item. Mistake! The cheaper containers both cracked within the first couple weeks of use. I came back and bought the Rubbermaid bin and it has been great. Thick, solid plastic that fits nicely along one wall of my freezer compartment. My only complaint would be that it doesn’t have a lid, but it’s great, otherwise.

Durable ice holder that doesn’t take up too much space in our freezer
Good size and durability. Great quality. It doesn’t take up too much space in our small freezer, but still holds a lot of ice!
