Superb. I use it to sand my Victorian floorboards with a duct extractor attached. Works beautifully and gives far more sympathetic finish than hiring out large floor sanders. Obviously great for sanding anything.

Fantastic Quality Sander
I have been using one of these for some years now, and they are an excellent sander that I am sure will last a lifetime.A 1/2 sheet sander is a pretty specialised sander, because it's too large and powerful for most jobs, and I suspect this is why they are so expensive - not much call for them. I tend to use a quarter sheet sander considerably more than I use this one because it's almost exactly half the weight. However, if you do need one of these, then I can certainly recommend this one. The speed control is surprisingly useful if for no other reason to reduce the noise and vibration for lesser sanding jobs.
