Shotokan Karate Bible and Useful Techniques
I really enjoyed reading the different Japanese meanings for every command in the Shotokan Karate Bible, that way it can help me improve on my understanding. I also like the fact that it came with the grading syllabus for each Kyu grade, as it has lots of great information which can be useful for each JKS grading syllabus.

good guide
Good basic guide to one of the most popular styles of Karate. I would recommend it to anyone needing the guide to what's required to get to blackbelt. Thanks for the book

Waste of money
Waste of money. The glossary is all over the place (is it not formatted for a mini iPad)?? The kata has NO images. The concept of the book is that it supplements what one has learnt in class in preparation for a grading - and of course because the glossary is just words jumbled up because if the formatting issue, it is of absolutely no use in deciphering the pages of kata explained in text. Wish I could get my money back

A comprehensive guide in chronological order.
A comprehensive guide in chronological order, but each grading stage could have been better formatted with the various stages and tasks leading into each other making the reading of the stages quite laborious.Having said that, there is everything there for anyone to get an understanding of what is required at each stage.

Too Short.
No pictorials on the kata. There is nothing here that you wont find on most Karate Club web pages. Quite disappointing.
