Sturdy, but not suitable for me
The arm came very well packaged, and is made really well out of metal. Unfortunately for me it didn’t have the correct range of motion that I needed so I had to return it but it was a great item.If it had another joint to adjust the arm upwards then it would have been perfect.

Budget friendly low profile mic arm
The budget microphone arm exceeded my expectations. It's easy to assemble and holds my microphone securely. The only issue is that it can be a little stiff when folding away but I'm sure it will loosen over time for my desired stiffness . Overall great value for the price!

Nicely made for the price, but way too small for my needs.
If you're using a microphone that needs to be up against your face, this is either going to be too low or too far away to work properly. If you want to mount this over your mouse and keyboard (as in some of the product photos) it's *extremely* short, and I found my hands interfering with the stand while using a mouse between it.It was extremely sturdy for the price, but wasn't suitable for my needs.

Missing component
The instructions doesn't match the product, there's parts missing so I can't even connect the mic holder to the stand

Pleasantly Surprised
I was pleasantly surprised when I received the low profile boom arm. I read the majority of the comments and was concerned that my Shure SM7B mic may be too heavy. I read many reviews that complained the arm wasn't sturdy enough to hold some heavier mics. I can say that I needed to tighten the hex screws quite tight which prevents me from easily raising or lowering the mic but, to be honest, I don't move my mic often anyway. It's set to the height and distance I want. It's a budget boom arm and you could pay more for a brand name that would probably give you better quality but this upgraded Ulanzi LS26 has a nice sturdy feel to it. The parts don't feel cheap.I highly recommend this low profile boom arm.

Sehr begeistert
Ich habe vorerst es wirklich für sm7b genutzt, durch die Umstellung der Monitore verwende ich es als Tabletthalter. iPad 12,9 pro wird stabil gehalten

Sturdy & Functional
If you are on-the-fence about getting this microphone stand I would highly recommend giving it a try. My setup in particular utilizes a microphone designed like a stage mic and before that was a standard condenser microphone. Both microphone designs I had trouble setting up in the scissor mic stand with how the rest of of my setup is done. I could never quite get the right angle and the scissor arm felt intrusive, I would constantly have to adjust and move things around. With this microphone stand it was pretty much find the optimal position for my setup and then no need to touch it again. It isn't intrusive in my set up at all.In terms of setting it up you can angle the microphone upright or down and everything in between. You can also spin it at the base and middle joints to angle it more optimally for your own setup. My desk is also a bit wobbly these days, and the scissor arm would cause vibration noises into my microphone a lot, this mic stand is sturdy all the way along, and very solid at the clamp so the stand does not shake with my desk. Very good quality, the price point is very good considering the quality is probably on par with microphone arms that cost over a hundred dollars - I highly recommend this product.

Strong and Sturdy
Great low profile mic stand. I was able to push my mic away to the side of my desk when not using it. Range of motion works for me. Just make sure the length reaches your working area.Very sturdy build. Enough friction to hold adjustments changes. Looks good.
