Let me just say how cool this thing actually is!! So I’m not someone who uses qtips inside my ear canal. I’ve always had ear issues as a kid. Lately my ears have been bothering me and i have wasn’t sure what to do other then go visit the ENT. I came across this and it’s helped so much. I can literally see if there’s any build up inside my ear. It’s a very easy, user friendly, app right one your phone. The lighting is perfect to see inside clearly… I’d think it would be kind of dark or over exposed with light, like a flash, but it’s not.. It’s like I’m right there, clear as day. The tool itself is small and easy to maneuver around. It comes with different tool-tips to extract anything from your ear canals or anywhere on the ear.. even including pimples and blackheads. It took a few tries to figure out how to get the wax out without pushing any inward but after a few tries, it was smooth sailing. You will not be disappointed with this. It has helped me see what’s causing me discomfort and instantly remove it right from my home. And the best part is that i didn’t have to make an appointment, wait a bunch of days and then go to the doctor to have the same thing done. I’ll be using this very frequently. It’s so cool.

I was excitied for this product to see all the nasty things inside my ears but unfortunately to get it to work you need to connect to the products wifi. It shows up rarely and everytime I connect it, it is unable too. Very dissapointed.

I used to have a hard time clearing my ear wax. Since I couldn't see inside my own ears, I was just guessing. It was frustrating for a while, until I came across this amazing product. I decided to buy it almost immediately, and it has made a world of difference.This tool comes with 6 different heads and some additional smaller rub heads, which are handy if you ever want to lend it to someone else. The best part is that it's connected to an app, allowing me to see a clear view inside my ears. I can even take pictures or videos if I want to. Admittedly, it was a bit challenging to control it through the phone camera at first, but once I got used to it, the experience became simply amazing.The entire kit is small and compact, making it incredibly convenient to carry with me on trips. I love this tool. It's been a game-changer.

The basic attachment and the video app work well.What's disappointing is that the attachments are not interchangeable. You cannot use the other tools with the camera, which makes them dangerous. Without being able to see, you could easily puncture an eardrum which makes them worthless.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this device shows an amazingly clear view of the inside of my ear canal. I didn't think that was possible without having a cost-prohibitive, scientific optical camera, but this GuardWee Otoscope really does accomplish that.Upon receiving the device, I followed the instructions for charging it up, downloading the app, and synching it with my mobil phone through the app. I found no issues with establishing a wireless connection. Within the app, there are instructions on how to solve any connection problems. There is a FAQ's and Q&A section that addresses usage and troubleshooting.I found that, for me, there was a definite learning curve in order to be able to manipulate the device with any amount of ease. This is mentioned within the app's Information section, referring to the need for going slowly and with care, as well as advising the user about the delicacy of the ear canal.I've found that, with practice, and with slow, very careful, and delicate manipulation, I can get a clear view nearly all the way to the end of the canal. I say “nearly”, because, while I can actually see the eardrum, I choose not to get so close as to be touching it with the spoon. To be that close, I tend to want to be able to leave that in the skilled hands of a professional. For me, being able to see any large wax buildup or blockage at the eardrum is what is essential. This camera is amazingly useful for that. It did, in fact, show me an impacted area, right up against the eardrum. This was fortunate, in that I was able to remove it before further problems occurred. In these situations, I prefer to use the standard otc-type irrigation process for removal. Thanks to this GuardWee device, I was able to do just that.As much as I am impressed with the device, I would prefer a few changes and additions. I found that the short video within the app tells the viewer what the device is, and what the device can do, but it doesn't go into any useful detail about needed hands-on technique for accomplishing that goal. Additionally, some needed information was, for me, a bit hard to find within the app. I found that, while quickly addressed, there could be more emphasis on the safety and precautions area. I found that I needed to do my own additional research in those areas. In addition, it would be helpful if there was a case provided for the device. A case could prevent breakage from rolling off a shelf or countertop, or from getting banged around in a drawer.Other than those areas, I've found this GuardWee device to be a very useful addition to my ear care routine, as well as being an extremely good value for a camera of such good optical quality.

I was hesitant to try a product like this but am glad I purchased. This was easy to setup and use. I just had to download the app, turn on the device and connect to its wifi network. After that you just press connect on the app and you can clean your ears with ease seeing all the wax build up.

The permanent appendage for the covers is not necessarily a good thing. The silicone covers stretch too much. They make it difficult to get anything out.
