Bought a cleaver on Amazon and it was that sharp it needed this sheath for storageGood item well made perfect for the cleaverWould recommend

The YISNTF 8.3” Chef Knife Guard was supplied in a simple plastic sleeve, I have a number of cleavers and chef’s knives and all are protected by similar guards. This one by YISNTF is well made, stitching is all good and the wrap around clip stops the knife from sliding out when in storage. To be honest the knife I wanted this for is a tight fit in this guard despite being sold as an 8.3” chef’s knife so I did have to push a little harder to get it into the guard – I’m sure it will soften with age - but on checking this knife is slightly wider then most in my kitchen. The inside of the guard is a soft, felt-like material that will keep the knife in good order and protect it if it is in contact with any other objects- whilst in turn protecting the objects from the knife. At £7.59 it seems good value as I have paid just under £10 for a very similar product.

The media could not be loaded. Really pleased with this.My cleaver is really sharp and don’t have any protector along the cutting edge. When I saw this it, I had to give it a go.It’s well made, with a well stitched seam. There is a clasp which keeps it in place over the cleaver but I’m not sure it’s necessary - it’s a snug fit on my knife.Fits perfectly on a 18.8cm x 9cm cutting blade (excluding handle).
