I tried the adapter at two different charging stations (1 electrify America and one a Shell branded charger). It didn't work, but it might have been the chargers. The chargers recognized the car was plugged in but wouldn't start charging. The only reason I got this was we were taking a vacation and staying where the nearest Tesla charger was more than 30 miles away. The Shell branded charger was in town and the Electrify America charger was just a few miles away. Needless to say, I returned it.

Heavy duty and functioning as promised

I’ve used this item multiple times now on my 23 Tesla model Y sometimes traveling into a area without Tesla chargers I have found if you look for the Ford dealerships most of them have chargers there that are very easy for visiting customers. Just put the adapter on plug it in and follow instructions on the charger.

I just bought a Tesla Model Y. I would like to share my recent experience. Although the supercharging station located near the Tesla dealership is quite far from my home, I am still very satisfied with my purchase of this current item converter. This is because there are other quick charging stations that are conveniently located near my home. In the event that the Tesla charging station is not within proximity when my car runs out of power, I am still able to use the other charging stations with this product. The product's converter has proven to be very useful in this regard.Furthermore, I have noticed that sometimes other charging stations offer a more affordable and competitive pricing scheme for quick charging, as compared to Tesla's fast charge. As a consumer, I naturally prefer to take advantage of the cheaper options available to me. That is how come I like this product!In summary, I am very pleased with my purchase of this product. It has provided me with more flexibility and options in terms of charging my vehicle, and I would highly recommend it to other potential buyers.

I just tried this, it doesn’t actually work on Teslas - it is too big doesn’t fit physically into the port on Model X

I've had 4 teslas and charge at home or at a supercharger. Occasionally there isn't a supercharge on the road and I need to use a universal high speed charger like an Electrify America. This is the adapter you need to use high speed chargers that aren't tesla compatible. It's added insurance you will always be fully able to charge quickly. A regular ev charger in a store lot will still take hours but with this adapter and a list of other high capacity chargers, your on your way quickly.
