Impeccable Contemporary Matte Black Design, Operation, & German Build Quality.
Over three (3) pounds of impeccable contemporary matte black design, operation, & German build quality. This did not disappoint me at all. Whether after examining the top half and the bottom half that is hidden from view. The high-quality materials found, such as the solid brass innards set this far apart from competitors. I have a faucet that offers sleek designs that are durable and pleasing from every angle of this Rebris “E” faucet. Its clean lines are striking. It’s timelessly modern looking. I am very pleased with hansgrohe’s design and build quality. The fit, finish, and feel of this faucet is near perfect. The handle’s movement is smooth, with no play or gaps. Extending without undue pressure and returning to its perch easily and accurately. The edges are perfect and sharp, with no manufacturing dings whatsoever. The laminar flow (i.e., constant) of the water works with a perfect motion, whether up, down, or sideways. The fine tuning of the water flow and temperature is easy. The functionality of this faucet is superb. Travel action of the slim single lever handle is smooth and even. The brass hardware is solid, heavy, and looks as pretty as 24K gold. The hoses are braided nylon and are thick and sturdy. All fittings are engineered perfectly. There was not a scratch or a fingerprint on this when received. It’s flawless.Flow of water. At a forward angle towards the center of the bowl.RatingIt’s five (5) stars. I really have nothing negative to state.ValueConsidering the build quality, I consider this having solid value at a competitive price.I hope my thoughts added information.

Very nice, fits our modern aesthetic perfectly, easy install
We have contemporary fixtures in the rest of our house, so while looking for fixtures for a basement build out, we're really pleased to find this Hansgrohe line. It is very similar to our Porcelanosa Hotel line with the most noticeable difference being the height and forward reach of the water outlet, which is about 1" more in both dimensions for the Hansgrohe. But no-one is going notice that difference, so, to our eye, it is about as perfect a match as we could get to the Porcelanosa.Installation wise, it was much easier to install than the Porcelanosa because they (Hansgrohe) use a type of bolt with a screw slot in it to clamp down a ring on the underside of the sink. The Porcelanosa used a large diameter nut which is beyond any size crescent wrench or socket that I have, so I was having to try to get slip-joint pliers on it, but the space under the sink is very tight, so I couldn't get a good grip on it. The Hansgrohe approach makes much more sense for tight spaces. The Hansgrohe also came with the supply lines pre-installed, with one having a red ring on it to mark the hot side. Porcelanosa's weren't pre-installed, so I had to guess which hole was the hot side and then use a label maker to mark the supply line for future reference. This Hansgrohe kit also comes with a drain that uses an up-down rod to open and close the drain, but our taste is for the pop-up type drain with no rod, so I didn't use this part of the kit.If, btw, you wonder why we didn't just stick with Porcelanosa, it's because we weren't happy with their warranty service when a problem came up. Warranties do matter.

High quality faucet that works perfectly for countertop basins
This is a quality faucet that compliments most countertop basins due to it's 7" height. I've been using it for about 6 months now on a basin that is 4.1" in height. The spigot hangs a couple inches above the basin, but in totals is about 7" above the countertop. The faucet has a very good hefty weight to it. Although this is a mid-tier faucet the movement is very precise and functions similar to higher end faucets. The construction is top notch and extremely easy to install. Any average DIY'r should be able to install this quickly. Water flow is restricted to 1.2GPM and the flow is very aeriated. The flow does feel really smooth on my hands and is enough for everything I've used this faucet for.

Good brand, but searches for the "baseplate sold separately" were a complete FAIL
This faucet was ordered to replace a poorly functioning 4" spread Phister bathroom faucet from 2010. I ordered this Rebris E based on there being a "baseplate sold separately" that I was totally willing to purchase, since this is a single hole faucet that needs to be installed in my 3-hole sink.On Amazon, at least, I would have expected this faceplate to pop up just below the top of the product page, under "Buy It With,", but this was not the case. I did an Amazon search, but that came up empty. I continued my search on the Hansgrohe website itself; there I found baseplates and escutcheons as spare parts, but none of them were specified to clearly indicate whether they would fit with this particular Rebris faucet.I then searched for the Rebris E Model on that same Hansgrohe website; 55 lavatory faucets popped up, but none of them exactly matched this model number. I clicked on at least a dozen of them to see diagrams of their parts, thinking I could order a baseplate for ANY of the Rebris E's and that it would hopefully fit mine (the different Rebris E's DID all appear similar to this one). But none of these diagrams even showed a baseplate, nor did the links for any of the faucets list anything of that sort as a spare part or option that could potentially be ordered by a consumerThis is a good brand, and the fixture feels heavy/solid. However, without the baseplate to cover up the extra holes I am not able to install it in my bathroom. When a fixture advertises that a baseplate is sold separately, then it should be possible to actually find it; this one cannot be found anywhere, not even on the Hansgrohe website.I'm forced to proceed in one of the following manners:1. Wait for the seller to contact me and let me know what the correct part is to order (and where I can order it),2. Take my faucet to one of the big box home improvement retailers and see if I can find a generic option on their shelves that will fit on this Hansgrohe (and properly match its chrome finish), or3. Hold onto this faucet and hope that (when I move) my new place will have a single hole bathroom sink with an old fixture on it (or one I do not like), in which case I will finally be able to put this Rebris E to use.
