I was surprised that my new Mo and handheld shower sprayer did not come with this piece. Had to buy it separately and was happy to find. It on amazon period my plumber installed it for me, it's a perfect match

Moen is the king!

This drop ell is top quality and looks very nice, but it requires a very precise fit. If the nipple is too long, you'll have a gap between the chrome cover and the wall. If it's too short, you won't get a tight connection. Also, the ell is plastic, so don't over-tighten it while you try to get a good fit. I've used it successfully on a couple of bathrooms. But a few years ago I found another brand that was easier to install because the ell and the chrome cover were separate pieces. The ell was brass and the hole in the cover was elongated to accommodate variation in the length of the nipple. Unfortunately, I don't remember who made it.

I initially thought the whole piece was plastic based on reading reviews but that is only partially correct. The 90 degree elbo that connects to the water connection is made out of metal. It’s painted black so it could have been assumed to be plastic but that’s incorrect. It is indeed metal. The chrome or whatever color you selected is made out of plastic. I’m rating this a 4 star as the entire piece is not made of metal but only partially.

Good product for the $. Its as described.

I ordered this upon the recommendation of my plumber. It fulfilled the need for it. That's all I can say about this.

Not right size to replace the wall attachment plumbing to existing moyen hand shower.

Moen is great! Love their products and this is the 2nd one of these that I've purchased. It allows (along with a moen valve) for one to switch to the hand held shower without the external (cheap) attachments that go on the shower arm. I had spray heads in my shower that kept clogging up, so I simply filled in three of the holes with a hole cover and I put this on the third one. Lowes carries a great hand shower holder which attaches to the wall with suction (or also comes with a sticky thing). And walla, a low cost adjustment to a hand shower that is easy to use.

A bit expensive for just a small elbow. Had to buy it to match rest of moen brushed nickel products.But it does the job.

Ce produit a été utilisé pour installer une barre coulissante pour douche à main (Moen 3668).Le tuyau qui sort du mur doit dépasser exactement 3/8" du mur fini. Pour une nouvelle construction c'est possible d'ajuster cette dimension mais pour une construction existante on devra probablement faire fabriquer une tuyau de longueur non standard. C'est malheureux que le concept n'accepte aucune tolérance.
