gorgeous - great buy!
we had clootie dumpling instead of xmas pudding on Xmas day. It was gorgeous and we will definately be doing it again next year. Quick and easy as we just heated it through in the microwave for a stress free tasty xmas pudding!Also had good customer service from company when contacting them to help with cooking instructions and serving ideas.its a lot lighter than xmas pudding (which is great after a huge meal!) with a ginger cake like consistency.would reccommend it to anyone.

I WAS DELIGHTED WITH THE TASTE AND HOW MOIST IT WAS.I ATE SOME FRESH, FROZE SOME AND HAVE SINCE DEFROSTED, TOP MARKS STILL DELICIOUS. .WHAT A TREAT

Dumpling
Only one to describe the taste.. (AMAZING), I'd buy again totally satisfied and there was plenty for the price well worth it thanks..

Probably not my first choice.
This was a 5/10 or 6/10 effort. I found it a little dry and also much lighter than home made clootie dumplings. If it had not been labelled as such I would have thought, on taste and texture, it was a type of ginger cake with some fruit. On that point, I felt there was not sufficient fruit in it.Also missing was the genuine clooty dumpling skin. Real clootie dumplings are boiled in a sheet and the suet seeps to the outside over the hours and then hardens into a rubbery, but edible skin.
