I got this to use under both my sewing machine and my serger. It keeps it in one place (doesn’t want to slide on the desktop any more!) It even works with my sewing machine extension table without having to be adjusted. It does like to hang on to any thread that falls on it, so I can’t just wipe them off into the trash as easily. It really does help to eliminate the sound of the machine so I can hear my music over it.

Wish I had found this sooner. Purchased it specifically to raise my machine enough to fit the cutout in my sewing cabinet. It raises the perfect amount and as an added bonus it muffles sewing machine noise and vibration.

The media could not be loaded. My machine has always been loud when I’m sewing and I’ve just dealt with it for years (10 years, 😂). I never thought to put anything underneath it but I’m so glad I found this mat. In the video I went pretty fast to demonstrate the noise and vibration. Now I don’t have to blast my TV and my husband won’t be able to sneak up on me to scare me anymore 🤣. The color looks more purple to me in person which I really like. It’s thick and very good quality. It’s nice looking but not over the top. It’s a large size which will accommodate the embroidery part of my machine nicely. The price isn’t too high but it could be a lil cheaper. It does its job very well and idk how I’ve worked without it all this time. I highly recommend this mat!
