Elemis Life Elixirs: Fortitude Perfume Oil, Perfume Oil Rollerball, 8.5 ml

I like the perfume and was Extremely Impressed with the packaging. I had received a rollerball perfume from a top company and it was completely cracked due to the packaging. I was a little hesitant to order this but was absolutely delighted and impressed when I received it.

I'm reviewing the Elemis Life Elixirs: Fortitude Perfume Oil, Perfume Oil Rollerball, 8.5 ml - here are my thoughts:This came absolutely, wonderfully packaged, in an attractive box and slim rollerball bottle, and is themed around the idea that some essential oils are - different types work with you on different things - this 'Fortitude' is said to ground. To root yourself in the earth and know that you can take whatever's coming. Empowering your spirit.The Yang Yang anchors, Cedarwood harmonises, and the Geranium restores your centre to encourage confidence.Whilst all this is very encouraging, and can be used as and when you need it, to keep you grounded in the way many essential oils can, it's best to try out the smell to see if you like it as a perfume. I thought it was nice, but my husband immediately picked up on it, and said he didn't like the smell. It's very woody and definitely not for everyone. However, if you like this smell, and how this can help ground you, I'm positive you'll enjoy using this, and the benefits you'll receive from it.The slim rollerball bottle makes this an absolute pleasure to use. Although this smell is not for me. I'd be interested in trying out other versions. I feel awful giving this only 3 stars, but when it comes down to it, packaging aside, I didn't like the smell.

I must admit we weren't familiar with perfume oils in our household but my wife really likes the fragrance and it's a novel alternative to the alcohol-based perfumes we're more familiar with.It is very small and hence expensive for the content but a little goes a long way and the scent lasts well through the day, developing nicely as the oils warm on the skin. A lovely gift for the discerning recipient.

I like the scent of this oil perfume. The size is handy for carrying in my handbag. Having looked at the ingredients list, I am not sure that this is a 100% natural perfume, natural perfume oil is made with only 2 ingredients: a base oil and essential oils, this has a lot of ingredients in it and in addition to essential oils it also lists fragrance perfume which usually means synthetic perfume. I wish the brand would offer a perfume oil that is truly natural.

ELEMIS Life Elixirs: Fortitude Perfume Oil - Perfume Oil Rollerball 8.5ml is a beautifully fragranced oil which I love, and the fact it is available in different oils to challenge or even calm your senses is a perfect solution for me especially in today's hectic and very busy world.First of all, I love the fragrance as it is rich, and it really envelopes your senses, I applied it as directed by applying it using the rollerball which is very cooling and has a massaging effect for me personally. I applied it to my temples and gently using my index finger gently using rotating movement massaged this area and with the beautiful fragrance not only calmed me while giving me much needed boost to my working day, also helped relieve a tension headache which was slowly getting worse all day.I loved this perfume oil so much, I decided to purchase the  ELEMIS Life Elixirs: Calm Perfume Oil - Perfume Oil Rollerball 8.5ml  to help me when the day is simply getting too busy and stressful. I am a firm believer in aromatherapy and this is an extension of this for me personally as a regular user of aromatherapy oils but what makes this product extra special for me personally is that I am able to carry it in my handbag and quickly apply it quickly and so very conveniently.This is a very rich oil, a little goes a long way, therefore, it will not run out quickly, with the addition of 19 different blended oils makes it a unique purchase from any other product in the market and I am extremely happy to recommend it as a great addition to my day. The oils enclosed in this very attractive thin glass bottle with a rollerball applicator provide me with a beautiful fragrance which also has hidden powers within each and every one of the separate ingredients.With the beautiful fragrance and its calming effect on my daily life makes it an excellent purchase.Happy to recommend.

Yes, I am a man, and yes, this product is aimed more at women, but I do like women's fragrances that are more woody, and this product has a really wonderful scent. The cedarwood in the mix is very strong, it reminded me of the inside of new wooden chests, if that makes any sense. The ylang ylang and geranium add more floral, perfumed notes, but I do think this is quite a unisex scent (as long as you are a man who is willing to take a risk!).What I really liked about this was the practicality of it. It is sized rather like a pen or pencil, so can fit into a bag or pocket easily. The rollerball means that the oil is very easy to apply, and to apply to very specific points. As advised, I applied this to my pulse points.Did it make me feel stronger, more grounded, as ELEMIS suggests? It's difficult to say. It's a really wonderful scent, so I did find myself smelling my wrists quite regularly, and I think that the combination of a really attractive aroma and the simple action of breathing in and out deeply was very settling. You hear a lot about mindfulness and being present in a moment, and I certainly think that using perfume oils like this is a way of taking a moment to breathe and concentrate your energies on a single task. I have been feeling stressed at work and have indeed been using this oil as a way of composing myself, so I suppose the answer is yes: this does help you feel more grounded and "strong to the core".

This is a scent that I would say you need to try before you buy. It won't be to everyone's taste.It wasn't to mine.
