No buzz or flickering in my office now
These tubes were easy to install and only needed a modification to the wiring. I had a annoying buzz from one of my old fluorescent tubes and discovered that the choke/ transformer insulation was cracking due to heat and could have caused a fire. Decided to up grade to LED tubes that run directed from the mains. I rewired one end socket to the switched main and discarded all the old obsolete wiring and choke etc. The other end connector need no wiring as it just hold the LED tube in place. Now no buss or A/C flickering,, LED tube light instantly and run colder and at a fraction of the cost. A modern win Win solution. The tube supply company who sell via Amazon have also given excellent customer service and certainly know how to pack these tube well so they arrive in perfect condition. Time will tell the live of these LED tubes but so far 100% recommendation.

Worth the money and effort
I bought led tubes for my kitchen 6 years ago , and they are still going strong, and on during the day due to being dark in there without. These were bought to replace old style in garage, They are now a quarter of the price of my earlier purchase as these more than paid for itself these will do it quicker. The wiring is a 10 minute job ( I uses wago connectors I already had ) and can be done in situ. The choice of light for me was daylight, I find it crisp without the blue of the colder light, and my garage is much better lit now. Plus the instant on means you are not halfway in before illumination.

Wiring
These tubes are great. Wiring diagram online not much help as all housings for florescent lights are different. I sought advice of an electrician first. However once explained and all bits removed tubes work great. Only 4 stars due to lack of instructions and unsure of lifespan until used. Will update after some use.

Easy install
Was worried about what rewiring I would have to do, but shouldn't have been, in the end it took about two minutes and was really straight forward. Second worry was whether they would be bright enough. Again no problem, actually brighter than the old tubes.

Erratic flickering when the sun is out
I installed this tube in Winter and had no problem rewiring the fitting, albeit I had fun rebalancing the 1960's designer light fitting, which hangs from a single pendant. The light worked well until Spring when it began to flicker when the sun was out.I have a system that dynamically controls the DHW immersion heater in proportion to the available surplus power from my solar PV panels. It works by chopping the waveform, which given the high current switched and circuit impedance to the source inevitably causes a noise ripple. Unfortunately this ripple voltage is enough to cause the LED tube to erratically flicker on and off. Other LED lights in the house and connected to the same electrical distribution board do not have a problem. I opine this light either does not have an LED driver, which would filter this out, or if it does it is poorly designed. The problem now is I have junked the ballast and would have great difficulty reverting so it looks like I will now have to junk my beloved 1960's light fitting.Sep 19 Update - Had enough of the flickering so replaced this cheap tube with a Crompton LED T8 Glass Tube and flickering gone. It cost a lot more but you get what you pay for! Added bonus the Compton tube didn't need me to rewire the fitting again as it is likewise powered from one (L and N) end and weighed enough so I could remove the weight needed to balance the fitting.
