Captoglove 1.0 Right Large Wearable Gaming Hand Machine Interface. PC

For those looking to pair this with the HTC Vive. Like many of you your probably trying to see if it's worth the buy and straight to the point facts. So here you go. The gloves at their current state can only function as a mouse and or keyboard and as such are compatible with your pc, not the htc vive itself directly. What does this mean? It means the gloves will not replace the controllers but rather your keyboard and mouse if your willing to key bind all the inputs to the games. The company website stated fully compatible, but their expecting to release the driver that will allow them to actually replace the controllers in 2019 summer...as of 01/2020 the driver is still a work in progress so it may be a while. The software isnt user friendly so dont expect it to be a plug and play. But if you have the patient it's well worth it. Issues I personally faced included gloves disconnecting from bluetooth. Limited mouse functions. No barometer, acceleration, joystick, and wheel z accessibility. Could not upload the premade rar files for other popular games as offered online due to different file type causing gsuite to crash. Software will not tell you why glove will detect, yet not connect to program settings. Seem to only be able to connect 1 glove at a time, when able, for uploads.Overall pursue at your own risk.

Pros: Looks coolCons: User manual does NOT answer pertinent questions that may arise, as the manual is not very descriptive; Very expensive--for just one (inoperable) glove; System states glove is connected, while captoglove suite states that glove is disconnected.The one good thing is: the glove will keep your hand warm--while you're sitting there wondering why the glove doesn't work!!!

Product is not compatible With Atheros Bluetooth Hardware. It's a very good quality glove, very comfortable, aside the wiring for the thumbs that can feel quite uncomfortable/pinchy by the joint. The software interface looks not so friendly if not for enthusiasts. The setup for games is script based, which is very difficult for the average person to set for most games. The lack of more ready-made profiles for games/applications make it not as appealing as it should.Overall: Good quality of hardware, with a few reservations on design. Poor software and not intuitive at all. The title of my comment says most of what you need to know in fact.

The gloves works as expected. Build quality is very good. Am working through the C# and Unity APIs. The CaptoGlove team has been incredibly responsive to my queries. Tech support is awsome.

The Captogloves I received seemed to disconnect often from Bluetooth. I use an HP Reverb VR headset and there didn’t seem to be any way to set up tracking of the gloves themselves. The gloves only seemed to be partially effective as a VR pointing deceive. My primary use was in DCS World flight simulator.

Great product but still need some more work to it

Large should be 10 inches, not women's sized gloves...
