VERY Sturdy (The Arm)
This is one of the laziest gadgets I’ve ordered here before 😂 But the idea of it is so cool! You can mount this to your bed frame or any sturdy surface similar to that. I tried it on both my bed frame and the metal bar that holds up my desk shelf. It held up well on both, and stayed in place for long periods of time. The only downside is that the length is a little awkward. I feel like it should be a little longer especially for those wanting to mount it on their headboard. Also, sometimes when you adjust the kindle (or whatever device you’re using), it will not hold it up the way you rotated it.Basically, it could be longer and a little bit stronger. The sturdiness to it revolves around adjusting the arm itself, rather than the part that attaches to the device. It’s a workout to adjust that arm!

Works great
I have it mounted to the side of my bed and have my kindle in it

Flexible but hard
Flexible but kind of hard to get into a position I wanted. The neck needs to be a little more easily manipulated to position it.

Life saver
Saves my arm from going numb while reading in bed and I no longer drop my kindle on my face when I fall asleep reading.

Dislike it
I would not buy again, infact I will be buying something different. You can't have any case on your phone or tablet if you want it to be secured. The length is not long enough, at all. The width for the clap is not wide enough either. I can clap it to a lamp pole or the drawer of a dresser. There is zero weight to base so I can't sit it on a surface and use it that way. The arm is so stiff it is very hard to bend, which can be a positive if you use a tablet, as they are heavier, I have used my phone more just a personal preference.

Nice hands free option.
I have attached this to my bed frame for evening reading. At first it was difficult to manipulate the position I wanted- it was pretty stiff and I worried about breaking it. I have to be firm when adjusting the position. My kindle does jiggle a bit when I swipe to the next page so I bought a remote page turner to use with it.

Solid product
Good product that looks good and performs well. Be aware that the neck is very stiff and will be an issue for anyone elderly or with hand issues. Also the clasp and the ball joint can be under a lot of pressure when adjusting, so it's best to use 2 hands to adjust the neck while making sure there's no pressure points that can cause damage to the plastic.

Exactly what I was looking for!
This product was exactly what I was looking for. I used it to mount a 9’7 iPad to watch shows in bed. The gril that holds the phone is very strong but there isn’t concern about hurting your device as there are nice thick pads on each end. One criticism would be that the pads are white, would be nice if they were black to blend in but that’s a small item.I was able to get the iPad into place myself, there is no case on mine right now but I did have a thin one similar to a phone case and the grip still was fine, might have issues with thicker cases. At the back of the screen holder is a ball joint that screws to tighten in position. Be careful as the two pieces will separate so make sure you have support for your device if loosening the screw. Once I got it tightened in place it holds nicely and I can make minor adjuatments with a little bit of effort. At the top and bottom of the clip are openings that would allow you to plug in cords as long as they are thin enough, one side has two holes on the left and right and the other side has one long hole in the centre.Bendy arm is strong and hasn’t sagged at all, is. Bit bouncy when using the touch screen but it’s not heavy use.Grip that Attaches to tables is sleek and strong, this screws into position and holds well. It is fairly thin which is nice on a shelf or edge that it doesn’t get in the way.Solid 5 star product, happy with my purchase and it was very quick delivery too!

met our needs
We have a treadmill and it gets boring! Bought this so my wife can attach her Kobo and read while she is walking... works great, strong enough that it doesn't bounce

Remember, this one is for tablets...
...and tablets are a problem. While viewing area increases as a square, the volume (and weight) increases as a cube. So a tablet with three times the screen area of a phone won't be just three times as heavy, but a lot more (about 8 times more). That is the basic problem with the concept of an arm holding a tablet. It cannot hold it as it were a phone, there is too much of a difference between 110-140 grams and 750-1,100 grams. The only solution to that problem is making the arm sturdy. Anything flexible will be useless, the tablet will bring it down. Since the arm is fairly rigid, that causes two further issues: the clamp is going to suffer if you try to flex the arm into a more comfy position; the arms itself cannot be too long, because of torque forces that would need the clamp to be made of adamantium (and you'd pay more for the holder than you did for the tablet). So that is the limitations of this product: it's rigid, it's short, and it's unlikely to have a long life. If you want something rigid, short, and that will last you for years, well, feel free to pay 5x the price.Time to move on to the less evident corollaries:1. This is not for the elderly. Unless they have someone fairly strong around, willing to move the thing as they need. It is very rigid, it has to be that way.2. Don't buy this for a phone. You'll have better options for something that barely weighs above 100 grams. This is for us, who got a sturdy, heavy, rough tablet.3. The clamp is made to be put on a horizontal surface. You cannot clamp this to a head board and expect it to stay in place, or not to break. Think about the difference in centre of mass when you try to use this sideways: it's not going to work, you're going to break it on the first use.4. The clamp is plastic because it cannot be something too rigid. It needs a small degree of flexibility. A base of aluminium or even steel wouldn't fare much better --you're fighting the torque created by a 1kg tablet about 0.5 meters from the point of attachment, limits of engineering stuff (unless, of course, the whole thing where permanently set in place, but you don't want that).5. If you want this to last, you have to face this simple reality: keep it in place. Don't move it around, don't try to flex it while clamped on, don't go around fiddling with it. You give it the right shape first, attach the tablet to the holder second, secure the holder to the arm third, and clamp the whole thing on a flat surface last (the clamp has a wide range, that's a plus, from half an inch to about three inches). This is a product that requires common sense. And intended for tablets, not phones. A god-send if you are careful, fairly strong, and don't need to be moving it around while already in place.
