Just what I needed
I ordered this basically for only 2 single springs but not knowing what size I needed made this the best option. I'm glad I did as now as weird as it is I find myself using more and more in weekly projects. Great buy for a great price and I would recommend anyone get a multi size pack.

Nice little kit I just wish they would have packed the kit better the dummies put the packing label on top of the box covering the original label with the size information that's why only 4 stars but probably Amazon's fault

Used in an old Mercury side mount control box
I purchased an old outboard with a control box that wouldn't go into "rev mode". Once opened I found there is a spring that got eaten up and was destroyed. This spring was only offered in a kit, that is no longer available, and if found was over $50.00. I figured for the price, I'd try this spring kit. After some trial and error, I found an almost perfectly matched spring and now have a functioning control box.
