Perfect Protection for My Knives – Durable and Secure Fit
I purchased the 4", 6", and 8" Mercer Culinary Knife Guards, and they work perfectly for keeping my blades safe and protected in the drawer. Each size fits snugly, and the material feels durable enough to last for years. ✅ Pros: – Sturdy, high-quality plastic construction – Snug fit that keeps blades secure without slipping out – Protects both the knife edge and your hands when reaching into a drawer – Different sizes available for a perfect match to each knife – Easy to clean and maintain ❌ Cons: – None so far—does exactly what it’s supposed to do 💡 Tips: – Make sure to match the guard length to your knife blade for the best fit – Great for travel knife rolls or when transporting knives to events – Wipe dry before storing to prevent moisture buildup inside the guard 🧠 Bottom Line: These Mercer knife guards are a must-have for anyone who stores knives in a drawer or transports them for work. They’re durable, reliable, and keep my blades (and fingers) safe.

Protecting My Fancy Canshang Knife
I got a super high-end knife set in a beautiful wooden box. The knives are extremely sharp and I immediately learned that I could not just throw them in our utencil drawers. Not only the blade would be banged and up but also we'll all cut our hands trying to reach the knives. They definitely need a dedicated storage space. The wooden box that came with the knives is fancy. But my kitchen space is very limited and I have no place to keep it where I can easily reach and I don't either have a knife block or spot for it. I see many (TV) chefs use those knife rolls so I was looking into it. But I just want it for my new chef's knife and those rolls are for multiple knives. Luckily, Amazon knew what I was looking for and this knife guard popped up on my feed. I've checked similar items from different companies but for some reason, this one was only $3,00! So I said why not and ordered it. I'm glad that I did! This blade guard perfectly fits my 8" Canshang Chef's Knife. Well, the word "perfectly" might not be completely true because it would not cover the whole knife. But it does what it is supposed to do, guard the sharp blade.. The opening is rather tight so I have to place the knife slowly and carefully. I was wishing it could be a bit looser so it'd be easier for me to place the knife in the guard. Then I realized if it was too loose, the knife could come apart in the drawer. Because it's tight, it is also secure. This was a great found and works very well for me.

Excellent knife edge protector
These knife covers do their job excellent! They are easy to use,and most importantly they protect your knife blade, from hitting other knives and utensils if you store your knife in a drawer. Knicks in the edge are not a worry, and that is good because it takes a lot of time and work to grind the knicks out on a whet stone diamond plates work quicker, but still take longer than a routine sharpening. In the long run you will recoup your purchase price by not having to replace your knife. I cover all my blades to keep them in top condition. My advice is save your knives buy these covers.

I needed this
I can't speak to durability, sturdiness or value for the money since it's still rather new and time will only prove those three things. I decided not long ago I really needed to invest in better knives, I've been using those real cheap knives from the Chinese houseware stores for most of my life but they do not sharpen up very well, nor do they stay "sharp" very long and before I die (my bucket list) I really wanted at least 2 really good (pretty good, I do not know what qualifies as really good) knives and bought two. I love them, I sit there just looking at them, they are so lovely, so sharp, so beautiful and slice like you wouldn't believe. Anyway, now that I have my beautiful knives, I needed to protect them. I only have about 30" of counter space to work in so I don't have space for one of those knife blocks and the way the wall is you can't put a magnet strip there. Oh, yes, I have one drawer for all my kitchen utensils, flatware, everything. So I'm using a shallow box to keep things I use all the time including my knives which I have had in those rigid plastic knife sheathes but they are open on top and stuff gets in there including moisture/oil in the air (it is a much used kitchen). So, looked around and saw this. My newest beautiful knife was too big for the other cloth guards I'd bought but this one fits like a glove. It feels sturdy to me, the razor sharp knife edge hasn't cut through the fabric (yet?), seems to be protecting my precious knife. In other words, so far, it's working very well and I can easily tell my excellent knife from all the lousy Chinese-made ones just by its cover.

Nice and simple, low cost answer to safely storing Mercer 10" Bread Knife.
Perfectly fits the Mercer M23210, 10 inch bread knife, allowing me to store it safely in my utensil drawer. Saved me from having to fabricate something myself which would have cost me more in materials to do it right. $5.00 was right at my threshold for what I was willing to invest in safe storage for a $16.00 knife that I don't use often enough to justify giving it my carving knife's slot in my countertop knife block.

Okay, but tight
I purchase this as a gift for my mother in law's Mercer Culinary carving knife. Its well made and covers the entire blade as it should. The one knock is that it fits very tight, to the point of being dangerous when putting the knife in it.

Le quedó muy bien a mi cuchillo de 8 pulgadas de Amazon. Un precio muy bajo y razonable para proteger el filo del cuchillo y protegerme del filo también. Vale la pena.
