Hammerite, prep proper and it’ll be right
Hammerite is brilliant paint, I needed to preserve something rather rusty so knew i would need the hammered effect as it was never going to be perfect after all the prep ( and this is key, prep thoroughly) I gave it a good coat and then another. The result is a very pleased customer as the pittedness of the metal because of corrosion diminished greatly once the paint was on. Prep properly and this paint won’t let you down.
