A nice toolbag with a ton of pockets and useful features
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and versatility of this toolbag! It feels just as strong and tough as other major-name-brand toolbags, which was my biggest concern. Additionally, the lighting is brighter than I anticipated and offers multiple levels of brightness at almost any angle! There is plenty of space in the toolbag for small hand tools, and even taller tools due to the height the bag offers. There are a ridiculous number of pockets available, but many of them are small slot-type pockets that can only fit certain types of things. The toolbag doesn't offer much space for larger tools, however, just the main large compartment which can quickly become crowded. I was able to fit my largest screwdrivers and my full-size hammer and wrenches in the main compartment, however I have to hunt through it to find the right tool because they are all sort of stacked in there haphazardly. That being said, it offers a similar amount of space in the main compartment to my old toolbag, so it will work just fine for my use cases. One issue I've had is that the bag arrived folded over, and so far it has not stayed upright on its own, it wants to keep folding over the way that it arrived. I unfolded it, flipped up so the crease was facing up, and set some heavier tools on it overnight, and that did seem to help, but the bag is still always bent toward one side. I think this will correct itself over time, and it doesn't really affect being able to use the toolbag, but for now it's harder to keep the main compartment open since it will simply fold over when I let it go.The light is really useful. I thought it would be more of a gimmick, but it includes 2 AAA batteries and the light is brighter than I expected! It also offers 3 levels of brightness, and you can rotate it around 180 degrees or so. With being able to set the bag several different ways and the range of rotation the light has, you can point it just about anywhere. Not having to use a separate flashlight to light up the work area in most cases is a nice time saver! This is a great, spacious toolbag, especially if you have a lot of small tools since there are so many separate pockets available for them to be organized.

REVIEW: Hultafors Work Gear HTL573 Lighted Technician's Tool Bag, 55 Pockets, Heavy Duty Ballistic Polyester Tool Carrier, Adjustable Swivel Light, Large Center CompartmentWhat an awesome tool bag this is. Hultafors has done a great job manufacturing a well built tool bag. It's just not any old tool bag though. This is built so tough and strong, that I think, even with extreme abuse, this bag will last. As a former Army Ranger, I can honestly say, that this is built better than any ruck I ever had. In fact, I've never seen any type of tool bag made like this and with this quality. There are a number of pockets, actually there are 55 of them. They range in size from an inch wide and a couple inches deep, to almost 6-inches wide and about 7-inches deep. There is such a variety of pockets that there is probably a pocket for any tool that most people have. The inside is huge too, since the bag is tall and wide, about 14-inches tall and about 8-inches wide, this creates a big open space inside where other tools or some power tools can be stored. It comes with two ways to carry it. There are the two normal handles that are grabbed at the top of the bag. Then, there is a shoulder strap to carry it with. Again, this shoulder strap is every bit as tough as the tool bag.The zippers are first rate, bulky zippers, that will take a lot of use. They slide easily and the pulls are large so they can be grabbed quickly and easily. There is just one issue I have. My light doesn't work. I tried new batteries and still nothing. As I screw the cap on, the light will flicker for less than a second, but it won't turn on. I have re-inserted the batteries, even turned them the wrong way, Nothing! To add it all up, this tool bag is a winner. I am very happy I ordered it, just wish I had a working light.

I think you can fit one more pocket on it
The inside light almost a must if you in a dark environment, but there's plenty of room, lots of pocket, nested pockets, small pockets, large pockets, zippered pockets, you name it. Interesting tool bag, I'm impressed with at the moment. Very expensive. Comes with a shoulder strap.

Nearly perfect, tons of useful pockets. The light is dim and more of a gimmick.
Very heavy duty bag that is soooo close to perfect. Many years ago, I was actually involved in designing heavy duty bags for the Scuba industry, and learned more than I thought possible about bag design. For example, on a well designed bag, the straps wrap around the entire bag. This way the straps take the weight. While the straps on this bag are well secured, they stop where the sides meet the bottom. Unless you're hauling a lot of weight, this is a minor issue - but I don't get why manufacturers so rarely do this. Next is a gate-mouth. That's wire reinforcement that holds the bag open. Most mags like this had that feature - this one does not. The light. OK, batteries are included - nice. But the light uses 4 LED's that are probably left-overs from 2001. VERY dim. Four provide basic illumination. You can see it in my photos. Not much light and little contrast. That's in for the complaining. The rest of the bag is magnificent. Heavy duty hardware, over-sewn edges, water-resistant pocket compartment, drop-side, pockets that you'll actually use. Large internal space where you can stack tools or parts containers. Really nice design for a tech-repair bag. It FEELS like it's pro-quality.
