Dobell Mens Black Tuxedo Dinner Jacket Slim Fit Peak Lapel

I originally purchased the 36L for my son who is 6'2 and slim but it was to snug so I returned for a 38L which is still a bit snug but will work ok. Returns and customer service is great with this company and I would recommend them to anyone. Just be careful with picking a size pick a size or two larger than normal. It does look good though!

I have gained and lost weight over the years. I am sure some of you can understand that comment. Well the last time I decided to lose weight, I did it with a flair. I actually dropped all the weight I wanted so that I was at my college level weight....from the 70's. Hence I needed new clothes. I did NOT want to do the tailor made suits again, as I don't really wear that type of stuff now. I'm an elementary school teacher....not much need for it. However, I did need some nice digs for special occasions. Needed a tux jacket for our annual church gala. Went to Mens Wearhouse to try on $600 jackets to find EXACTLY what I needed and could wear now. Then I ordered this on sale for $80. Paid 15% of what Mens Wearhouse cost. It comes well packaged, on a nice hanger, and in a VERY nice coverlet type bag. In fact, the nicest I have ever seen to include my tailor made suits over the years. I cannot rate this product any higher than I do. Top Notch Quality. You will NOT be disappointed if you buy here.

This is perfect for a Prom - don’t hesitate. This is the very first review I have submitted (I’m Dad) but I have to say I wanted to go out of my way because this Dobell tuxedo (dinner jacket and pants) is really extraordinary for the price. We have a tall, super thin but muscular 17 year old and for about half the price of a rental we were able to buy this tuxedo and a shirt that altogether look MUCH better than the rentals and for half the price of the $250 going rate in NYC. Frankly this tuxedo is nearly as good as the $400 tux I bought off the rack a couple years ago for myself. Delivery ended up faster than the 2-3 week estimate so that was good too.

Although this is listed as a slim fit, this is actually a wider fit than the "classic fit" suits I currently own. I was simply looking for a slimmer profile and this is the exact opposite. I also had to pay for shipping back to the Dobell merchant (approx. $10) and drop off at a USPS, which they claim as their "Easy exchange and return" policy. By the look of the quality of the suit, it looked fairly nice from what I saw (which is the only reason it is a 2 star instead of 1).

Beautiful jacket for the price! I ordered a 34s slim fit for my skinny 17 year old for upcoming prom and it was perfect. I ordered the whole suit - jacket and pants, the pants were not as slim fitting as we would have liked, but that is a different review! Shipping from the UK took exactly 2 weeks with no tracking, which keeps you guessing! The eventual delivery was from USPS. Nicely packaged with hangers and garment bag! My son loves it!!

I had to return the first jacket as it was too small, got the replacement just in time for our cruise.It fit like a glove. Kudos to Dobell!The only bad thing was after using the garment bag that it came in it totally fell apart.

Ordered this for my husband who wears the same size suit. He can't even button it and it's tight around his arms. We are going to try and exchange it for the next bigger size. It looks great just to small for him.

Alexander Dobell Men's Peak Lapel 1 Button Slim Fit Tuxedo Jacket 38 Short. This Tux jacket is very nice and a perfect match for the Dobell flat front Tux Pants. A good buy at $99. for the jacket and $50. for the pants, you have a nice slim fit Tux for $150. The fit was perfect and needed no alterations. It came nicely packaged on a hanger, in a zippered suite bag, inside a box (minimal wrinkling if any). Over all I'm pleased with my order, thanks Dobell!
